A lovely discovery whilst visiting Seaford for a coastal run. Friendly attentive staff, delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. I had Welsh rarebit and my wife enjoyed a ham & cheese panini with drinks. Amazing lunch, thank you!

What a lovely place! Warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and fabulous food. I had the breakfast but the cakes looked absolutely divine too! The way the staff interact with the customers is lovely. They obviously have a lot of regulars and greet them by name. I needed to kill some time while my car was in for a service so decided to find somewhere for breakfast. I don’t really like eating out on my own but this place had such a lovely warm vibe I didn’t feel awkward at all. I will definitely be back!

Firstly, the people who work here and the owner are all very nice. The food is very tasty and the daily cakes on offer are also delicious ! I also appreciate that's rents are high and costs are going up for lots of produce and fuel.....But, I have to remove one star for the portion sizes. When I pay that sort of money for a "full" English breakfast....I do expect more than half a tomato, more than 3 mushrooms (cut in half to make them look like more) and more than 1 spoonful of baked beans. By the time you order extra mushrooms, sausage and egg, you end up paying restaurant prices for a breakfast if you want a full plate of food! I had ordered extra for the breakfast in the picture! overall - very very good

I had a porridge with compote (vegan with oat milk), oat latte, and biscoff cupcake (vegan cake option). Lovely food and environment. Porridge was a nice consistency and I enjoyed the seeds on top. Biscoff cupcake icing has a spot on graham cracker flavor (that might be American of me to describe it as though?). Busy place but by the time I finished reading the menu on the wall, a seat opened up.

Took mum out in her wheelchair for a treat, she doesn't get out often. This lovely cafe could not have been kinder. They saw us outside and instantly offered the ramp. They moved tables to fit her chair in. The tea came with pretty bone China cups and the cake was sublime. Service outstanding. Mum and I discussed their lunch menu but the food, delicious as it sounded, is no good for mum as she can't eat a lot of things. But when I asked if it would be possible to provide poached egg on toast, they didn't flicker. Instantly said yes. We're going back next week. What a wonderful place!
