We had an entirely vegan meal from the cafe's kitchen during an event hosted there. I was unsure at first as I'm not always a salad-first person, but the meal blew me away! Flavourful, healthy, and all made with so much care. Can't recommend enough!
This is by far one of the best venues I have worked with in the Brighton & Hove area and as an event facilitator I have worked with many. The staff were engaged in our ethos, attentive, and best of all anticipatory of our needs. As someone who meticulously plans events it was amazing to find a host organisation who 'gets it' and goes the extra mile to create a special experience for those booking spaces and using the facilities for the day. I also want to specifically mention Maria Camila Bedoya-Toro, Alice Beeby, Georgia Holliday and Jill at reception who made our day extra special. The sustainably sourced food menu, devised and prepared by chef manager Oliver Thompsett was both beautifully presented and delicious. When working with venues it can feel like you are a tourist or a customer, Sussex Innovation's attention to detail, venue and staff truly made our room and the venue feel like home for the day. If you need somewhere to host your workshop, professional meeting, retreat, or event in the Sussex area - definitely consider Sussex Innovation. It is convenient to get to and provides a calm and welcome alternative to event spaces within Brighton. Due to the busyness of the town during tourist season it can be very busy, and difficult to access venues, and therefore tonally frenetic. This wasn't the tone we wanted for this event which focused on learning, so Sussex Innovation Centre was perfect!

The cafe staff that work along side us here at the innovations Centre are the most joyful, helpful and warm team. The food is wonderful. Fresh, flavor packed and really well cooked, with a weekly menu, good range of hot and cold offerings and delicious treats and drinks. Coffee is great, and made well... Thank you for fueling my working week....and for also supporting spurs. COYS!
As an Arsenal fan, I can honestly say that spending time at this cafe is a delightful experience, largely due to the exceptional customer service provided by Jamie. Despite our team allegiances, Jamie's warm and friendly approach creates a welcoming atmosphere that transcends football rivalries. His excellent service truly enhances the overall enjoyment of the cafe, making it a place I look forward to visiting for my daily coffee.
