   The Ropetackle is great and so is the cafe. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, and good, simple food made to order - a salad and a wrap - with a good cup of coffee. Around £10 per person. It's a small, simple menu, but perfectly suited to what they do. One thing to note - the bar wasn't open when we went there (a Saturday lunchtime); only open show nights, we were told. A shame, because they do Harvey's IPA - but then again, a good reason to go there for a show.

   I ordered a cake for my daughters 30 th birthday i wasvery impressed with the service the cake had been delivered on time on new years eve. Looking exactly like the photo on the website it was very well received by my daughter and family i was impressed with the flavour and the presentationall the family enjoyed it. I would certainly order from rose petal again and would recomend them to friends and family.and would certainly say the service I got from the start to recieving my order was first class.

   Everything we asked for was supplied and our wedding cake was amazing. We would highly recommend Becky, who we found very approachable and polite throughout the whole order process . We even were provided with free samples to decide the taste of the cake. We went with a top layer of fruit and a bottom layer of Victoria sponge , which were both delicious.

   The Rose Petal Cake Company were brilliant. Becky was amazing and lovely in designing our wedding cake , she’s so talented. Our cake looked beautiful, the cake tasted amazing! We will definitely be using Becky for future birthday cakes.

   Becky did an afternoon tea for our 40 guests at our daughters wedding on 18/6/2022. It was absolutely delicious, everybody loved it. Sandwiches, scones , sausage rolls, cheesecakes, a variety of cakes. Our theme was vintage, and this fitted perfectly, just what we wanted. My daughter had a wildflower bouquet, and Becky made her a wedding cake and cupcakes with edible wildflowers decorating it. It was beautiful & delicious. Well done Becky and her helpers.    We were let down by other cake providers and Becky managed to fit us in at the last minute. The customer service was amazing and she was lovely to deal with (even honouring a price as she originally misquoted). The cake was delicious and looked as good as it tasted. Would highly recommend!
