Excellent coffee. I had a really nice long black on a run while visiting the mother in law. I went back on my next trip down and had a coffee and cake. It wasn't a fluke the first time round and the coffee was excellent again. The cake was nice too and the bloke running it was super friendly and charming.

We have been going every weekend since they opened. Perfectly placed on our dog walk along the South Downs Way. Excellent coffee with a cheeky bacon sandwich never goes amiss. Sausage rolls come highly recommended. Duncan and Alison are very friendly, providing a welcome interlude on our long walks.

What I love about this place is that it’s not fast food. You can have a good chat whilst waiting for your food to be freshly cooked. Nowadays I don’t like to rush so this is exactly the type of snack bar for me. Great service and a great menu, well worth a visit if you’re patient and appreciate a good natter in a lay-by.

Brilliant food stop on our South Downs Way MTB ride from Winchester to Eastbourne. The egg and bacon rolls were a life saver and coffees delicious. The couple running it couldn't be friendlier. Highly recommended. Thank you

Son playing football locally, googled coffee near me, went along and brilliant. Terrific coffee, breakfast, served in beautiful scenery with an amazing welcome/service. Love it.

One of the best roadside eateries. If you are going past a must stop for a cup of coffee and a quick bite. Duncan the owner, is friendly, his choice of fresh coffee is excellent and everything else is spot on. He runs it perfectly, from being spotlessly clean to fresh baked goodies. His wife's homemade flapjacks are worth putting on a few pounds.

Great little grub and tea spot with a really friendly owner situated in a lay-by on the A283 about 2 miles before the A27 shoreham bypass. There is plenty of free parking in the lay-by and is about a 2 minute walk down to the banks of the river adur. The only downsides are no loo and not much shade, but those are hardly deal breakers.
