Had an amazing time here with friends – the food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavour, and the service was friendly, attentive, and genuine. Great atmosphere all round – can’t wait to come back!

I was really surprised at the quality of the food here. For Β£30 there's a weekend taster menu with a good selection of starters mains and desserts. We ordered the sharing camenbert which was a big plate- including cranberry jam and bread , enough fof 4 and the calamari. For our mains the roasted pork belly was melt in the mouth tender with pork cracking and the surf and turf perfectly cooked with a lovely peppercorn sauce. Our desserts cheesecake and sticky toffee were presented beautifully and delicious

A great pub and restaurant. Overlooking the sea on top of the cliffs, views are superb. Nice outdoor seating area to enjoy the views. Food is always well cooked and presented. Wide menu which is decent value. A well run establishment. Nice staff Nicky and Darren.

Pulled in here as she had heard it was an iconic tourist attraction. We were expecting it to be a lot busier but were pleasantly surprised that we’re was ample seating. We sat outside and enjoyed a couple of drinks over looking the ocean. Sunday definitely seems like the day to go if you’re looking for a decent hearty roast. We did t partake but they were being ordered thick and fast by others. Staff are a bit pretentious for what the place is but we didn’t let that upset us too much. Bathrooms are in desperate need of attention, general cleaning and toilet paper top up. Worth pulling into for a break and a quick drink or meal.

Visited for a works Christmas Party, food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly and attentive, my only slight complaint was that they had run out of several food options including the Turkey Christmas dinner which is what we all had wanted! I wouldn't have minded so much but I had specifically called the week before and asked if we needed to pre-order and was told that it wasn't necessary! We would go again but would definitely ask to pre-order next time to avoid disappointment. I would still recommend as the food we did end up with was fantastic just not what we really wanted.

Visited here for lunch one weekend in October. We had variations of the Sunday Roast and traditional options such as Fish and Chips. The Turkey was by far the best roast option! Staff were friendly and attentative, and the food was on the whole good. It wasn't that busy although it is a big pub with plenty of tables. The pub is also dog friendly. There is seating outside too and plenty of parking. Worth a visit.

Nice environment inside. Restaurant was closed on a Saturday, lack of staff. The controlled parking is gone, which is good. On the bar it advertises, crisps, olives and nuts. Thought that would be nice, expecting a coupe of bowls on a wood board, but no. Olives were nice, but was handed a tiny pack of nuts, so got my own bowl, but barely a mouthful filled the tiny bowl. The nuts were Β£1.50, Olives Β£2.20 and a small bag of crisps Β£1.60!!!!!! So Β£5.30 for pack of crisps, pack of nuts and a few olives. We got a pint of doom bar, small lime soda, olives and one bag of. Nuts, cost Β£10. Dog friendly and free dog treats, so you could eat those I guess!

Went in on Sunday for roast to this wonderful place. Friendly greeting upon arrival, Alexa went about and beyond to respond to us quicky, was very polite, friendly and provided a great service. The roast was delicious I tried the trio roast and all the meats were cooked perfectly along with delicious veg. We are very pleased with the attention and service we received - really nice place to stop off at.

We were driving the coast (heading west) and decided not to stop in Brighton because it was way too busy. Luckily we came across this pub on the water. It has fantastic views and the inside is as charming as the outside. Food was great, but did need some salt. Overall, great experience.
