Pub in general nice place nice locals made to feel welcome but unfortunately the miserable woman behind the bar put me off a little have been in previously and was served by lovely bubbly lady who was very attentive, which is why I came again but will make sure not to come when the older lady is on the bar
Excellent service and a good crowd when we went in to watch the rugby. Pool table and dartboard.

Lovely friendly pub, reasonable prices
I’ve played here now for the 4/5 Saturdays and what a shame it’s been. The course and layout itself is fantastic and I recommend anyone to try it. But it seems the green staff don’t work Saturdays as the bunkers were in a bit of mess and the greens were slightly bobbly and fluffy but were still in a relative good condition. The course was still in very good condition and considering the weather it held up superbly but it was a shame as the little attention to detail let in down in certain aspects but again I would recommend it to play and I imagine the summer it would be lovely to play.

Never met a landlady quite like Zena. What a star. Loves her job. So friendly and keeps a very well run railway station pub. Cares for her locals and is welcoming to all. The other staff are great as well. Justin the weekend bouncer is a true gentle giant. Love this place
