Love this place, so don’t let this review put you off because it shouldn’t - however after going to buy my third round was refused to be served as thought I’d had enough. They came to this conclusion from my drinks order, literally said nothing else. I’m 44, never been refused anywhere ever - so after 3 beers felt this somewhat harsh. So I left, along with entire table and went to the opposite pub (Corner House, not as good, better food) who were happy to serve us all night. As said, great place, you should go there, but won’t go again with a group of us and really hope whoever the militant servers are don’t hamper this otherwise brilliant pub.

Great pub but the staff charged me twice as if I had missed a payment for a beer but it went through twice for 1 beer which was disappointing.

Thanks to the team for fitting us in last minute to their amazing quiz!!! Food was delicious, went for the Carne pizza and it was one of the best we’ve had. Staff are so lovely, amazing vibes and beautiful pub !

I like this pub, it's a nice mix of being able to slope off for a quiet drink with a buddy and having a big get together with plenty of pals. What I don't like is when I tried to complain about the food (which is delicious) but the fact that they had a sign out saying food was on from 12 and the chef didn't actually start till 2. The same thing happened 4 or 5 other times to me and my mates (who went separately over the next few months). The response from whoever runs the social media pages was rude, curt and basically told me to get over it. The face to face service could be friendlier too, some nice peeps in there but every now and then you get served my a bloke with a face like a smacked arse. Hey, we all have down days I guess

Great and tasty pop up from the Yeastie Boys at this pub. Fantastic music with some awesome rock however slightly disappointed that Guinness wasnt available and had to resort to a murphy's stout.....that said would come again as there is Kraken Rum.

Great pub, friendly staff, good range of draft beers, ales and cider. Pizzas were really good with vegan options. Dog friendly.

Great service, cool live music, friendly and fun. If I had just 1 criticism it's the toilets.. Maybe not regularly checked on a busy Saturday night (unisex) but that does not put me off this boozer. Loved the outside area and pretty lights.. Many thanks

Lovely pub, good atmosphere and good beer and service But I’ll wait until Summer to go back. Like all other customers I walked to the New Amsterdam on a cold wet winters day. I was looking forward to a warm cosy drink or 2….. After just a few minutes I was just as wet and even colder than walking in the rain.Stay at home if you want to be warm and cosy, many Worthing Pubs are saving on heating bills…….Getcharcoaton!

Amongst the best pubs in Worthing and surrounding areas. It's finest attribute is the friendly staff, a welcoming clutch of personalities. Attentive, and skilled. Quality range of beers and ciders, mostly from local breweries. Notably an absence of Guinness in favour of Murphys, personally I salute this choice. Maintains a broad and well curated spirits selection. Despite the tragic discontinuation of their incredible vegan Chicken Poppers, the new menu continues to maintain a high standard of flavour, good portion/cost ratio, and a good variety.
