   I broke down on Old Shoreham road yesterday when my gearbox decide not to work any longer. I called my breakdown company and was assigned to Lee Hire to get me back home. The young man who arrived, did so ahead of his predicted time, got to work instantly and in a short while, my car was on his trailer and we were driving back home. He was very friendly with an enormous amount of knowledge about cars, and their faults. I highly recommend Lee Hire.

   Tom H was extremely prompt, professional and friendly and took complete control of what could have been a very stressful situation for me. He was quick to respond to the call, immediately put me at my ease and my car was fixed onto the recovery vehicle and we were on our way in no time. This company is far, far superior on every level to other more well known breakdown recovery services.    We broke down in a very precarious position blocking the entrance to a retail park and causing traffic havoc. LH came out to us very quickly. The mechanic Jonathan was very helpful, courteous and efficient. He got us safely off the road and towed us home. Even managing to get my car on our driveway which was no mean feat.    My car lost a nearside rear wheel on M23. Luckily nobody hurt & Highways Agency on the scene quickly to cordon off the inside lane as there's NO hard shoulder! Car was recovered to LH's Burgess Hill facility & Tom delivered it to my home yesterday. Really impressed with Tom's can do approach & professionalism. Just need to get it repaired. Thanks again Tom!

   Absolutely shocking service, I don’t even know where to begin. Whoever is supposedly responsible for “managing” the drivers, and I use the term managing very loosely, is only responsible until something goes wrong. After that the blame gets passed on to whoever it can, without holding any responsibility for their mistakes. Incapable of following simple instructions, with an ignorant and childish attitude. I phoned up to have their mistake fixed, and unfortunately had to deal with a petulant child. I wouldn’t trust them to move a pawn on a chess board, let alone a car.

   broke down with flat battery in snow- AA wouldn't respond so police advised using Lee Hire. What a fabulous service I was given, Despite many call outs LH managed to reach me in just over an hour which is probably less than the AA ! A friendly mechanic started my engine efficiently. The price was very fair . I can highly recommend if you need reliable, friendly service.
