Ordered 18:52 told 20:15. Arrive on time told not quite ready. 21:25 it finally arrives, its busy and I feel for front of house but their timings are a joke. Spent more time in here than ive spent with my kids on Christmas eve. It's alright though you get a free beer.
Looked on line to order takeaway food. Priced it up to £18.60 when we collected it was actually £26.80 when we queried the price difference we were told that they had asked for the menu/price list to be removed many times as lots of people had also complained. What a joke! This is completely misleading and to top it all they got the order wrong as well. I will not be going back there.
Just spent £50 on takeaway… enquired jokingly, “does that get me some free prawn crackers?” (As it always used to!) Answer - “No, our new manager doesn’t do that” Okay fine, so I pay £2.50 extra for prawn crackers as I decide I fancy some… Order delivered - open the bag to realise there are no prawn crackers. Call the restaurant straight away explaining they must be in the car and only about a minute away. Sorry, I need our driver back - can give you £2.50 credit. Food luke warm and lacking flavour. Poor. Very poor. Unlikely to use again.
After years of ordering and spending a lot of money with this restaurant, they’ve now refused to deliver to us because their driver keeps going to the wrong address, and local traveller children have been pretending to be us. Despite explaining the situation, they won’t listen or help resolve it, they’ve simply refused to deliver to us. It’s incredibly frustrating and feels very unfair, especially considering they just won't let us explain what is happening.
Love ChinaExpress! We normally get a takeaway but had a meal in the restaurant for a surprise 30th birthday. There were 10 of us and everything was perfect! Service was brilliant and food was amazing! 10/10!
Would highly recommend! Customer experience is amazing the staff are so friendly, polite and attentive. A great experience either eating in or as a take-out, food is amazing and I reckon the best in the area. From a regular customer.

So usually when I order from here it's a wonderful meal but service the last 2 times have been awful, i have called and placed a order they have gotten a dish wrong, upon calling and talking about it I have been faced with a rude young individual instead of apologising and being nice to the customer they argue back with a attitude. I understand its a hard line of work I work in customer care my self in a busy cafe, but never have I ever treated customers like this and shut off from them they way I was treated on the phone. I have paid alot of money for the meal I wanted and didn't get l, 2 times this has happened and I wish I went to the Jade Garden in Biggleswade as they are very friendly and treat you as family. This doesn't go against the rest of the restaurant however, the people who own and run China express are wonderful and kind but it's the 2 young individuals taking the phone orders who make us want to go else where.
Love eating here... the food is amazing, fresh and delicious! The staff are absolutely wonderful. Cannot fault the service and they go out of their way to make sure you're enjoying your meal
The restaurant serves delicious food, cooked in a fully visible kitchen. Once service stopped, there was a mass of activity cleaning everything in the kitchen. Service is attentive and thoughtful without being intrusive. We had a lovely time. The food was awesome.
