   I had high hopes for this garage, and my experience would have been very different if not for the unprofessional behavior of an older man called paul. When I brought my van in, I was met with excellent service from Tony, who unfortunately had to deliver the bad news that they couldn’t fix it. As a result, I arranged for the van to be recovered as soon as possible. However, I was soon met with an aggressive and unnecessary phone call from paul, who threatened to push my vehicle onto the road, where it could have received a ticket. His attitude was not only unreasonable but also completely unnecessary given the circumstances. As a previous customer, I had every intention of returning with my next van, but due to pauls poor customer service and lack of professionalism, I will be taking my business elsewhere. It’s a shame, as the rest of the team seems to work hard in what appears to be a difficult environment. Unfortunately, the management style feels outdated, creating a negative atmosphere for both staff and customers. I would not recommend this garage to anyone who values good customer service and an stress-free experience. What a plonker …….

   My gear box was leaking oil and I was quoted at another garage £100 more to fix it. I can now leave my car on the drive. They also did a little interior fitting job for me and put a new wing mirror. All done perfectly. The customer service was great too.

   After a poor experience with another mechanic, I called Simms and popped in to explain the issue. Parts ordered and a couple of days later fitted and the issue with the car was sorted. These guys came across as very efficient, new what they were doing and willing to sort out someone elses mess which is a credit to this business. Will I use them again? Most definitley. I have an MOT coming up on another car and this will be my go to place for that and any future issues. Very friendly garage and the way I was treated is one of the best experiences I have had when dealing with mechanics. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

   Visited this garage last Friday whilst working close by for the week. The back box on my exhaust had started to rust off and needed replacing before travelling back to Norwich later that afternoon. The guys were able to sort out a replacement, get it installed, and changed my coolant all within a couple of hours meaning I was able to get straight back on the road after work, and for a very reasonable price. Couldn't have asked for anything more and highly recommend this garage if you need any emergency work.
