   I strongly advise against using this garage. My Mazda MX-5 was issued with an MOT pass here despite having several dangerous, obvious faults that should have resulted in an instant failure: • Rear shock absorber falling apart. • Seat belt that would not clip in. • Windscreen washer that didn’t work. A separate vehicle, my Audi A4, was also passed here despite having a broken left coil spring. This fault was later repaired by a mobile mechanic — I have the paperwork to prove it. Even worse, after this garage “repaired” the brakes for another customer, her car tried to roll down a hill when she parked and applied the handbrake at home. These are not minor oversights — they are serious safety risks that could have caused accidents or worse. I have reported both vehicles to the DVSA for investigation, and there is also separate legal action against the garage for non-payment of an outstanding bill. If you value your safety, and the safety of others on the road, get your MOT and repairs done somewhere else. They are very bad

   I’ve been taking my cars to Chris for several years now and honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else. He always goes above and beyond to help, no matter how big or small the job, and you can tell he genuinely puts his customers first. His knowledge and experience are second to none, and he always takes the time to explain things properly so you know exactly what’s going on. It’s rare these days to find someone so reliable and honest, and I can’t recommend Chris highly enough.

   I can't recommend these guys enough, they squeezed my car in for its MOT and were polite, friendly and trustworthy. Prices quoted for work I'm considering for my 23 year old car are very good. I highly recommend their services and I will certainly be returning to them for work that my mobile mechanic can't do, such as undersealing, any welding that may be needed in the future and future MOTs, etc. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service from start to finish, Chris (and Alissa(?))! Me and my little old car will definitely be back to see you soon for some preventative care ;) I really appreciate your service.

   Extremely professional but friendly. The work on my x3 has made her purr like a kitten! Servicing Sussex are respected and renowned for their honesty, value for money and hard work, while providing a wide range of services such as Mot's, brake replacement, general repairs and more. There's even an amazing dog friendly cafe round the bend and up the slope a bit. You won't miss it, outside is the most amazing tent type thing, it has tables and benches, as well as rather comfortable sofas and really great food.

   Debbie and the whole team were brilliant. I'm always oddly apprehensive about going to a garage but they made me feel at ease and were able to fit me in incredibly quickly.
