   Wow, I cannot praise Julian enough for all his help with my Peugeot horse lorry. I had a problem with my ECU, which a main dealer wanted to charge me £2000 to replace, without any proof that it would solve the problem. Julian took the original one out, had it tested, I found out that I needed a new one, he sourced one on EBay for me and fitted it, now I’m just about to get it’s mot done and hopefully back on the road, thank you so much. He also helped us with a similar problem with my daughters VW polo.

   Can't rate Balance Motor Works enough! Took my Porsche 996 in for a suspension refresh as most Porsche garages I tried would not offer a bespoke service or the prices were way too high. The work Balance MWs carried out was above and beyond, keeping me informed at every stage and always considering cost implications. They further treated the areas that were stripped down to prevent any future corrosion. Julian & Craig both very knowledgeable and put your mind at ease when it comes leaving your car in the hands of a mechanic. Will definitely be using again!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

   I had a fantastic customer experience with Julian and Craig at Balance Motor Works my initial contact via email was responded to quickly with a full breakdown of the cost and part requirements for the walnut blasting on my Mazda 3 2.2 diesel. Upon arrival both Julian and Craig walked me through the process and answered any questions I had. I live in London and Julian was happy to drive me back to the local station (in addition to picking me up when the work was completed). My overall impression of the organisation is they truly care about the work they do and go over and above to ensure the customer gets what they pay for even to the extent of providing me with in depth photos of the before and after of the intake manifold and EGR clean. It was a pleasure to give Balance Motor Works my business and would highly recommend them to family and friends…. 5******

   Hi, I want to express my gratitude to Julian and Craig (Balance Motorworks) car Restoration They looked at my car and told me it could be “saved” Rust Restoration Hearing those words after the day I had previously was so heart warming. 24 hours previous my garage of 23 years told me the car was old, rusty may last another year, start thinking about getting another car Hearing those words filled me with dread, thought of loosing a loyal, reliable old friend, histor built together over 23 years. As Julian so rightly said “old cars get under your skin” and “yes” they really do. So, if your in dispare about your old car when every one else has given up. Give Julian and Craig a call you will not be disappointed. There attention to detail Is second to none they have great respect in the work they are commissioned.    Jules and Craig saved me a lot of heartache and cash last week. My car was struggling to start (and after a lot of aggravation I was ready to get it recovered to a breaker). As a last rolI of the dice I managed to get it over to them and to everyone's surprise Craig found that the previous owner had Installed some kind of diesel mod chip on the car that had since failed causing the car to think it had no fuel. Once removed the car is up and running again. I won't go anywhere else.

   Craig from Balance Motor Works extracted sheared brake bleed screws from the callipers of my 2007 Nissan 350Z and replaced the OEM cats with HFCs. I'm pleased with the work they carried out and especially happy that I didn't have to fork out for a complete refurbishment of all four callipers. The turnaround was quick and I received frequent phone calls from Julian to keep me updated. After they fitted the HFCs I could hear a slight rattling noise coming from the exhaust. I spoke to Craig and he managed to fit me in just before they closed down for the Christmas period. In the end, there wasn't a problem (just the sound of the new cats) and my mind was put at ease. I wasn't charged for this which I appreciate. Julian also wrote an article on their website about the work done to my car which was a great little read. I did fit a new O2 sensor which works perfectly and cleared the CEL. I'll likely be back to get Lanoguard applied soon!

   Fiat Panda 100HP - 3rd Gear Synchro Gearbox Repair. My Panda 100HP’s gearbox had developed a miss-mesh 'crunch', when down-shifting to 3rd - and occasionally would jump into neutral during swift up-shifts into 3rd. Balance Motor Works informed 3rd gear synchro wear is a common problem with a 100HP cog-swopper - and that they have an established process of repair to rectify it. Back in May of this year, they’d completely overhauled, refreshed and enhanced the car’s suspension - and made such a superb job of that, I had no hesitation in returning to them for the gearbox repair. And they’ve made an excellent job of the 'box, too - it’s now super-slick, both in and out of 3rd. I can now fully enjoy driving the car well into the future. For any car nut, the operation of a car is an all-important part of the driving experience - whatever you’re driving. A Panda 100HP is certainly not as salubrious as many of the cars they work on, but I think they apply the same level of care and knowledge to each job, regardless of the car. I can’t praise the quality of their work and intimate knowledge enough - a great service, rounded-off by excellent value-for-money. I really would urge anyone looking to revitalise or enhance their car to give BM a call. Very many special thanks to Julian and Craig.

   The guys at Balance have recently carbon cleaned the intake on my BMW 520D F11 and I'm really happy with the results. (there is a blog article on there website showing my the process on my car). They cleaned the intake and used walnut blasting to clean the carbon out of the car and since they did the throttle response has seen a large improvement and having now driven a few thousand miles I'm confident I'm getting another 2mpg from the car as a result (although hard to measure). The guys where a pleasure to deal with and I'm really happy with the results and the service received, would recommend....
