I didn't have food but had a flat white for £3.50 which was essentially warm milk, couldn't taste the coffee. I suspect not dialled in/inexperienced baristas as they have really nice equipment. Only one person in there so can't comment on atmosphere, but nice decor and dog friendly. Staff friendly.
I’ve been here twice and both visits have been great. Coffee is lovely and food is amazing.
Quite pricey here and not worth it in my opinion. I had a m&m brownie which was good however my partner had the cheesy fries which on the other hand weren’t so great. We also got a coffee which tasted slightly of washing up liquid which isn’t the usual coffee taste. Plenty of options on the menu which is good to see for a small coffee shop. Staff also not so welcoming didn’t really smile at all. Was nice that we could take the dog in which is always a bonus but could have had some treats for dogs as they are dog friendly. Overall probably wouldn’t return to this one which is a shame as it was really nice on the inside but just some areas to improve really :/
Fantastic array of coffee and superb cakes in a friendly atmosphere. Charlotte was a fantastic host during our visit, and we very much enjoyed making friends with the "cafe dog" socks. As well as the more decadent options, there is a wide variety of healthy "gym friendly" treats and meals meaning this isnt just somewhere to visit for a glutenous bit of luxury.

Fabulous coffee - far superior to anything locally, ranging as far as Cardiff. Well worth a stop off the motorway not only for the coffee but for the service and ambience.
Amazing service from the staff!, Looks great inside with plenty of space to work or relax! Cannot beat the taste of the Coaltown Coffee and much cheaper than these large coffee chains. Will return!
