I took back a PlayStation 5 with Black Ops 6 bundle. When opening the box the BO6 download wasn’t in the box and the console made some strange whirling noise. The lady who served me was rude and made me feel like I was lying. I will never use Argos Pound Lane again.
Had a problem online so went in and I couldn’t ask for better service. The manager Karl served me and he was so helpfully and sorted it all out. I could not ask for better service such a nice guy. Thank you and will defo use in store more.
Poor service at the tills They have a tv above a payment point with a very clear sign displayed on it. ‘Paid online, collect here’. There is a very clear inference that online orders which have already been paid for should be collected at this till. Today I spent ten minutes waiting at said point only to be told to join the back of a longer queue. When I asked why, the reply came that everything is ‘paid online’. Another staff member I later complained to acknowledged this signage was confusing. However there was no apology for my wasted time. When I was served I had the offer of insurance read out to me in full even though I explicitly said I do not want insurance before his monologue began. Can’t help but conclude they just enjoy wasting your time at this store. Having now read the other Google reviews for this store it seems other people have experienced the same issues with where to queue.
A small Argos branch ideal for collecting online orders from. It also features several terminals so you can order and pay in-store. I've personally found the service efficient and friendly.
Today I had returned faulty item which has been purchased earlier that day, everything takes less then 5 minutes and refunds has been transferred to my account. I had a pleasure to deal with ADRIAN everything has been done up to highest standards quickly friendly and hassle free!!! What a high level of professional customer service !!! Not as good as when Argos was a stand alone company not as much choice and many items not in stock Shame Argos was bought out but big bonus count when in business
Filling in delivery information, they asked for the number of your house. You put the number in and it still asks for it Argos, you’re a shower of shhhhh
Elliott was a true gentleman today. What a helpful man, going above and beyond, helping sort an admin issue and then taking my large 34kg box to my car and loading it for me, and being aware of my limp as waiting for knee surgery, even wished me a speed recovery. A shining star in today's difficult times. A real asset to you Argos. Look after him.
