This restaurant is well worth a try. A very good menu with lots of choices to suit you. The food was well presented and very tasty, and the staff were very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely dreadful. No wonder it is up for sale. Ordered 5 starters, they arrived a bit slow after 45 mins, they only brought us 4, told the waitress, then 10 mins later, the other starter arrived, however, rather than it be the chicken Goujons with chilli sauce and salad like the others, all that came was 2 greasy goujons in a bowl, no sauce and salad like the others, when we questioned it, we were told...oh, we are running low. One of the bowls to serve the sauce in the starter was all broken and chipped, you would normally throw this out at home, let alone use it in a restaurant. Meals finally came and what a let down, bisto gravy granules with the pie, the fish was tiny and looked more like fish goujons and the Spaghetti Bolognese was just bland. The picture I am adding is the biggest of the three fish ordered. Over £60 for that rubbish, disappointing.

My wife and I came this afternoon for food, and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised, the restaurant was quiet just us and 3 others. The food was really good the steak was so tender and the homemade chips & lasagne were beautiful. The log fire was a bonus as its so cold out, really surprised how quiet it was the place is a hidden gem

38 mins for the food to arrive. Food was hard or cold. Entire place was colder inside than out and the waiter was red faced with spots all over his face (possibly chicken pox), wearing Gregg merchandise hoodie.

The food was ok.. ish. Not poor quality, just not everything was as I would have liked it. The staff were amazing and did everything to make us comfortable. Watch out for the mixed grill...it's huge..be hungry, very hungry. I will go back.

Best place for kids! Shame it was cash only, didn't have food but from the menu and what other had it looked lovely. Play area is amazing and suitable for all ages. I had a 1 year old and 8 year old and both had lots to do and enjoy! Would definitely recommend to families or for couples. Very welcoming place!
