   We visited the angel inn last night for the first time and it certainly won’t be the last. The chicken Balti was so tasty. We were served by Toni and she was lovely! I definitely recommend this place!!

   Dog friendly pub! We were late finding a place to eat on a Sunday. We had been refused at another pub, but The Angel staff kindly allowed us in and we're super friendly and attentive. The food was fab, and even with it being the end of Sunday service they still had all roast meats available. I will return, even on my own with my dog.

   We had trouble booking as we couldn’t get through on the phone, but having taken the decision to wing it, we’re glad we did. The staff member (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) ensured we were seated and got our food order in before a large group, so there was no major wait at all, and the food which came out was great - large portions, great taste, and we left feeling very satisfied. Couple this with the historic building and the scenic location (well, if you look in the direction of Kenfig Dunes/the church and not the M4, this is well worth a visit.

   2 for £15 lunch menu or main menu both worth a look at. Met at the door and sat immediately. Great service and great food. I had meatballs ( about a dozen) on linguine in spicy tomato sauce with melted cheese on top with garlic bread. DH had belly pork with veg and mash. Mash was a bit dry- maybe instant? But everything else gorgeous.
