   Initial meeting with Paul led to a site visit by Richard. After an estimate we chose this company. They really were fantastic. Richard and his assistant, Vadim, were punctual and explained everything as they went along. We basically had a new flue and everything was spot on. In addition, their pricing was very fair and the final invoice was lower than the estimate because they had used less materials than they originally thought they would need. I recommend the company without reservation and would sum them up as extremely professional and honest.

   Being 100% reliant on Electricity we decided to install an LPG gas fire in the existing empty Parkray coal fire and back boiler fireplace. We decided on a Gasco Fire and visited Alcosa our local agent to order it and get it installed. Richard came and surveyed the property and a quote was quickly prepared and accepted. The installation date was arranged to fit in with another Contractor. Richard, swept the chimney and then decreased the size of the fire place. He was meticulous with his work. It was a work of art in my opinion. He also fitted a cowl to the chimney. Ross, the qualified Gas Engineer did the final fitting of the fire and with the help of a trainee installed the gas bottles and supply pipe which ran through the loft. An amazing, friendly and professional team. They protected everything and left no mess at all. The fire is brilliant and fits in so well. We are delighted with the faultless Service we have received from Alcosa and the whole experience has been a joy. We would certainly use them again and recommend them to our friends. Thank you Alcosa.

   Had a log burner installed by this firm about 10yrs ago. The whole process went smoothly and really pleased. Clearview stoves are worth the money. Will be moving to a different part of the country, so dropped in to their showroom, purely to have a look at the different makes/styles etc and get ideas for our new house. Someone came down from the office to help and we felt a bit awkward explaining that we had no intention of buying, but that didn't stop them from going through all the pros and cons of the various log burners and what to look out for when choosing an installer. Amazing service; totally selfless. Learnt so much. Very grateful! Thank you.

   Sadly I wouldn’t recommend, although I am very happy with the fire and the fitters that installed it the sales experience wasn’t so good. I asked for a quote and with no site visit carried out I received an estimate this then led to an extra £300 added to the end bill without any prior notice. I feel strongly that better initial surveying would have made my experience better.

   Had a wood burner fitted by Alcosa can’t praise the team enough from the show room staff to the installers Arrived on the date quoted, installed with very little mess and inconveniences (did exactly what is said on the tin) efficiently of the nee stove is incredible This stove was installed after another local company made such a bad job the stove had to be removed as installation condemned by manufacturer and Heatas Really can’t praise this company enough. Not the cheapest but when you weigh everything up certainly good value for money Well done and thank you

   Had a chimney rebuilt and lined, awaiting the burner and fireplace to be fitted. So far so good, great workman ship, advice and very friendly.. Had lots of problems after the initial install. Eventually sorted but was a pain.
