Food is excellent with an extensive menu and very reasonable prices, staff are super friendly and welcoming. Lovely warm cosy atmosphere, will definitely be there again.
I had arranged to meet my Cousin Michael in there with his mates Steve and Colin for pre match Libation. I got there earliest , im a Millwall fan with Tattoos of Millwall visable and a strong London accent, I ordered a pint of Guinness and stood at the Bar, the Guinness was superb and had been well kept, im also a Barman so I would notice. The Regulars accepted and were friendly, the food did look good and the Staff were excellent , I would most certainly use the pub if I was a local. Next time I visit i will most definitely go there. Im back home to Deal on Wednesday so it will be a while before I do. Wishing you all the very best for the future. Thank you.
Our first visit and I have to say it was fantastic . The carvery was delicious, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. We will definitely be coming back
Fabulous food here, something for everyone. 2 meals for £15 - a great affordable price with generous portions. Staff are friendly at this faimly run business & helpful with any queries. Will definitely return.
Great pub in the heart of the Hafod, which is about 10 minutes away from the city center. I went on a Sunday with family for lunch at 3om, and it was busy. Lunch was a small carvery option for 9.95 which had all the basics, although I was a little disappointed that they had run out of swede and they hadn't replaced it as the carvery was closing in 25 minutes. The food itself was lovely and the vegetables weren't overcooked, which is a common problem. If I'm in the area I will definitely return for Sunday lunch, however I may try to arrive earlier when there is plenty of vegetables available.

Excellent food in the restaurant/lounge, great place to watch sport in the bar. Recently turned up twice on the spur of the moment for food, only to find the pub closed. Pub needs to update their opening hours on their website. I turned up on a Monday only to be told they don't open on a Monday even though the page says 11am - 11pm. I also turned up on a Tuesday at 11:30am only to be told they open at 12:00. Please owner update your opening times. Also there's a sign outside that says happy hour 4pm - 7pm. I was there during this period and was charged full price for a pint of Worthingtons and not £2.50
We came here for our friend's 27th birthday meal and what can I say was outstanding we had the sharring platters but tbh the food was so nice non of us wanted to share it was hot and fresh I would highly recommend for food and can't wait to go bk xx
