   Lovely night. Best sirloin steak I've had this year anywhere. Beautiful Christmas decorations and cosy room. Room was packed with diners and the bar was busy also which is always a good advert.

   Made a booking on the Tuesday evening for last weekend. Arrived and booking didn't appear to have been made. Staff offered a table in the corner of the bar. I had specifically asked for a table in the restaurant!. We didn't stay and attitude of staff were not helpful. This was a pub where we used to go most weeks for Sunday lunch but we now will not be returning. Very disappointed.

   Food was good but not fantastic. The service was excellent even when under pressure. We had a large table booking and all of the food was pre-ordered to avoid delay as another table of 15 had booked just after us. Staff were fabulous and kept our drinks flowing. Kids wasted most of their food as none of them liked the nuggets as they tasted like garlic (fussy bunch). The fish was massive and delicious. The scampi was a little fishy (which sounds ridiculous but it was how it tasted), chips were not great but with the fish they were quite enjoyable.

   Must check! Food was well cooked and well priced. I had a Surf & Turf. Lovely mix of my favorite food One of the best stakes I had. Food is superb highly recommend it Gentleman checked on us twice, very friendly and professional. On the other side atmosphere is maybe a little bit overwhelming. Advice to owners. Maybe its time for simplicity and refurb.

   Hadn't been to The Globe in a very long time. Was part of a party of eight on this visit. We all really enjoyed the food. There were some decent vegetarian options, which was quite important to myself. Lovely atmosphere, and good service. Highly recommended.
