   Just spent £2500 on injectors and a diagnostic test. Engine management light was on when I collected. Was told that I just needed to drive it and it was all running fine. Drove it out of the garage and thought it was still misfiring. Thought I should listen to what the guy said. Drive it again the next day and took it straight back. The problems it went in with and the misfiring seemed to be worse. Not a happy customer at all. It’s in now… hopefully they will fix it this time

   Not super great experience as this was my first time booking full service + MOT. First thing when I arrived I was told that they cannot do MOTs for the rest of the week, but they still can do the full service. This means full service on Wednesday, and then I will have to come on Monday morning again to leave my car for MOT. Then when I collected the car on Wednesday the invoice was super confusing, as I booked a couple of small jobs and I asked why I was charged a little less than what was quoted and the staff told me: ha, we haven't even charge you for MOT yet! Why this is confusing because I paid for MOT+full service weeks ago, I was charged already. Just felt like a mess and just needs more communication, if I booked both services on the same day I want the done on the same day. If you cannot do it, you should let customers know in advance so I don't need to drive for nothing to the service.

   We took one of our Ford Transit custom vans for diagnosis and repair as it was experiencing vibration at speed. We called on a Friday and they found us an appointment on Saturday. Other garages had failed to diagnose the problem correctly and had recommended other major works like changing clutch, but the Halfords technicians were able to correctly diagnose and fix the problem same day (drive shaft). Cannot fault them. David and Cristian Thank you guys.

   Took car in at 11:18, assumed the car was booked in for 11:30 as the website clear states "PLEASE ARRIVE 10mins BEFORE BOOKING TIME" I was then told the car wasn't goint into the workshop until 2:00pm and it would take approx 2.5hours, so will be ready for collection at 4:30pm. After 5hours of walking around Swansea, went to collect the car. I was told the car has only just gone into the workshop, albeit the car WAS STILL OUTSIDE WHERE I PARKED IT 5HOURS AGO! They then gave some excuse "...had problem with ramps" and the service will take roughly 1hour, so now 1.5hours quicker than what they originally told me! I'm guessing a RUSH job now considering it's 4:30pm on a Friday evening! I'm totally unhappy with the service and why they didn't phone me to advise they have a technical problem. I requested a FULL REFUND. I'm self employed so have wasted 5hours of work and all the were prepared to do is offer me 10% discount which equates to just £25 off!

   Had an mot test here last week and the car originally failed on a few things. Mechanic was very helpful in explaining the issues and told me what was needed for the retest. Booked the retest over the phone and was happy that they could fit me in on such short notice. When I arrived for the retest they were very efficient although they did seem very busy. I give this business 5*

3. Paradox Emporium ★☆☆☆☆

   Previous work done was good quality but when changing my wheel bearings they wrecked the rear trailing arms left brake pipes loose, parts missing and didn't do the wheel alignment which caused adverse tyre wear. If you care about your vehicle and your life, DO NOT USE HALFORDS AUTOCENTRE.
