Been going here since I was little (over 15 years!). Haircuts and beard trims have been always consistently great. Mark is also a lovely chap and has great convo. Really recommend!
Gwydyr is where I have been getting my haircut for the last few years and I've never had a complaint. As a man with long hair it's hard to find somewhere where they can cut it properly and not at mad prices. The guys are also super friendly and welcoming. You don't need to book as walk ins are welcome and I've never had to wait that long to be sorted.
Great barber. Affordable, friendly and the saloon is proper old school and authentic. Highly recommend. A snip off the ol’ block.
Genuine old school barbers shop. It's like going back in time to the 1930s. Good value, good conversation and a great place to go for a bloke's haircut. 100% recommend.
Jay cut my hair today, what a legend. Ive got very curly hair and people normally get it wrong. Hes done it perfectly and a really nice guy to boot. Cheers!

This place is an absolute gem and Jay is simply amazing! Not only is he passionate about his work, he genuinely knows/understands the different hair types and exactly how to cut them. Having curly hair myself, I have lost count of the number of other barbers or salons that have completely ruined my hair over the years but Jay has given me the best haircuts ever leaving it easy to manage and style etc (I go back regularly now to maintain it as the prices are very fair too). And don't think it is clippers only here as these guys do scissor cuts too (what I have) to amazing standard and better than salons in my opinion...just check out all Jay’s trophies (which he is very proud of) or ask him to show you the photos from competitions/women fashion shows etc that he has done. The technical detail and execution is incredible so ladies, I would openly recommend Jay to you too as he can do it all. Many thanks Jay...can’t believe it only took me 10 years to find you!
