When I sat down, a waitress asked me if I was going order anything I said yes I just need to take a call and I will order some tea. And During the call the waitress again asked me if I was going to order anything interrupting my call which I was clearly on. I reminded her again I'm on a call and I will order after my call. Two clearly racist white ladies emphasised that I should order now again, which was none of their business but it was the audacity to be retired and make comments on others. The waitress said that this was a business and they could not afford to spare any tables though I was only there for 20 minutes and there were still seats available. I did feel that this was racially targeted, especially after my call. I did order a tea. And I repeated myself and told her I did tell you I was going order my tea after my call what was the necessity of forcing me to order before I was ready? I am emphasised I was not trying to take advantage of them. I just needed to take a call urgently. She said she was just trying to run a business and I said valuing your customers was part of running a business but that fell on deaf ears. I bought my tea and just left it, I had no intention of taking advantage of the business. But I felt because I was not white, I was not awarded the liberty of patience or trust.

Staff are always friendly and helpful, coffee is great, and a good choice of vegan cakes. I can definitely recommend their onion bhaji wrap if you want something savoury.

Wow, what a gorgeous place. Visited two times and staff were super friendly both times, such a pleasure to visit. An AMAZING selection of cakes and treats, I was actually quite impressed. The orange polenta cake was dreamy! And the pistachio cookie - WOW! It has a creamy pistachio filling inside, an absolutely decadent treat, especially for someone like me who loves pistachio flavoured food more than any other! I hope this will be a regular one at the cafe! :) The mocha was also excellent - one of the best mochas I have ever had. You can taste the coffee and chocolate very equally, and it is not too sweet (most mochas elsewhere are too sweet). Price wise, very reasonable compared to other places. And they don’t charge you extra for alternative milks which is a huge plus for me! Very much appreciate their reasonable prices and I hope they are here to stay.

If you're looking for somewhere to sit and read your book along with a coffee, or maybe a snack, Cafe W is a great option. There's plenty of space and the staff are very friendly. I spent an hour or so just drinking my coffee and reading, and I didn't feel like I was overstaying my welcome at all. It seemed very family friendly as well, I overheard someone asking about baby changing facilities and the staff directed them towards them. They have toilets, including an accessible bathroom, and the cafe can be accessed via the lift.

Just stopped here for a quick cup of coffee. The lady at the counter was very rude. Despite me being a paying customer who bought a couple of cups of coffee she asked me to leave because I ate a homemade sandwich that was not from the store. I always stop here on my lunch break from work, and have never had an issue eating my packed lunch here before

This is the best place to hang out when you've got a bit of a wait for a bus or something. The drinks are quite cheap here and the tea is great.

CafΓ© W was not what i expected. The "W" I imagined stood for a much maligned group of people, whose driving style is not appreciated by those whose motoring philosophy is honed by Jeremy Clarkson, and who deeply resent the Highway Code as an imposition upon their rights and liberties as freeborn Brits. Though limited intellectually; they are rather skilled in their deployment of the "W" word. And in case the unfortunate recipients of their eloquence might be hard of hearing, they use, with an unnecessary degree of amination, a crude sign language that has not yet been officially sanctioned by the British Association of the Deaf. The "W" in this instance was definitely and disappointingly "Waterstones". The woman who seemed to be managing the cafΓ©, surprised me by her competence and friendliness. More disappointment followed; the coffee was good and the cake i had tasted homemade, and swore to me in a posh lemon-drizzly fashion, that it had not been trucked in from a grotty little factory on a ring road north of Huddersfield. The cafΓ© was fairly busy. Some of the clientele seemed rather anxious, like they were attempting to pluck inspiration from the magnolia of their minds and were engaged in writing what we would call "poems", but what the BBC have come to refer to rather unfortunately as "poo-ems". Altogether, it was a surprisingly pleasant experience and one disappointingly i shall feel compelled to repeat. It was not my expectation to give this a 5 star review, but not to do so would be churlish and dishonest. Cafe W is a surprisingly pleasant retreat to hide out from the din and showers of Norwich.

Love this place. Great atmosphere, lovely coffee, wonderful friendly staff, would be perfect if the air conditioning worked.
