Ordered from Lin's for years, even when we moved further afield. Anything Salt & Pepper is the best you'll get. These guys could Salt & Pepper an old boot sole and it would still be better than another Chinese around.

This was awfull through and through. The best part was the basics, the rice and noodles. Which though edible, lacked any flavour. The rest of the food was far worse. I hope the chicken was pre cooked because if the stodgy batter on the balls was to go by then I have serious concerns about food poisoning. The first warning sign was the speed in which it arrived. Many foods can be deliverd 13 minutes after ordering, but not chinese. I had to ask the delivery driver if they had the right order as i wasn't expecting it for anouther 30 minutes. i'm positive the food was undercooked or warmed in a microwave. Apart from the siu mai. A steamed dumpling should not be dry and crispy. clearly reheated in a frying pan after being left to dry for god knows how long. The undercooked chicken balls, over cooked siu mai and general lack of flavour were bad enough but then theres the salt and peper shredded chicken. As crispy as a babybel and as less spicy than a mc nuget. To call the soggy chicken tenders "salt and pepper shredded chicken" is an insult. If you want a chinese go futher afield. Lins is on my no go list and it should be on yours. UPDATE: Spent all night throwing up from food poisoning.

Had delivery from here, and the food came very fast. The food was pretty good. I didn't much like the Kung pao chicken, but the salt and pepper chicken and sweet and sour chicken were good (s&p could have used a bit more flavor). Not bad amount of food for the price, would eat here again

Not had food from here for a while as theyve changed the menu but thought we had a try . Never again . Had a mixed grill and specified no onions . Cone with loads of onions. Its a good job it wasnt an allergy and just the fact we dont like onions . Cant take simple instructions . Also very expensive for what you get . Wont be ordering from here again

I stopped ordering from here around two months ago there food was always brilliant but the last two takeaway's were rubbish at 20 od quid it's most dissapointing, they must have changed the chef the food was so different, we've gone back to our old takeaway. What a silly reply I can't believe you're saying that your food is inconsistent i used a takeaway called Win Sans for over twenty years his wife was the cook, I always had the same food from them the same curry, chow mein, sweet & sour & everything else we used to have from there was perfect every time until they retired. When we sit down to our take away have the first bite & we look at each other & say this is bad & we open the next meal chicken & cashew nuts & it's visibly different nevermind the weird taste we said new chef?, the food we had is why we started using Lin in the first place but not now the beef green pepper & black bean sauce overloaded with garlic we thought it might be an hic cup but no the second time was the same, weird flavours tastes that don't belong in the food .

Ordered a meal tonight, I am a regular customer and I was over charged and when I tel back to enquire why I was charged this she said the meals had gone up. She was rude saying they were busy and the menu I had and the online menus prices were wrong, and she was abusive so I told hi to forget it and put phone down. The meal did arrive later I refused it saying I wouldn’t eat it now just in case it had been tampered with. Will not use again.

Been using Lin chinese for more than 5 years it used to be very very good but standards have slipped . The last few takeaway/ deliveries recently have been dissappointing . Delivery used to be quick ( about 20 mins )and the food was hot but now more than an hour and not as warm .. The other main criticism is the very noticeable reduction in portion sizes . one time my wifes sweet and sour was about half the size , no kidding ! And today all 3 meals were significantly smaller . I understand we are going through hard times but dont cheat on portion sizes put your prices up slightly if you have to. . Going to be looking for a new chinese takeaway from now on .

Absolutely shocking service from the delivery driver dropped all my food on the floor and when asked what she was going to do about it told me to shove my f***ing tea up my arse. Then tried to run me over as I walked out of my drive ! If I could give 0 stars I would
