I use B&Q alot, I find pretty much what I want and at good value. Paint wise it's got a good selection. And you can have any colour you want made up .timber wise you have got a good selection. I brought a door from them and I'm well happy with it .there's loads more to mention but it's well worth a look .parking wise no problem s it's got a big car park and it's free. Wheelchair access no problems.
5 star customer service from Sonia this evening. When we couldn’t see the paint colour we needed from the shelf. She checked in the back and even went up a ladder to the top shelf to find the paint we needed. She found us the last can! We are very happy and appreciate her service very much!!
Alistair is probably the worst customer service employee (possibly supervisor as he got called over to assist) I have had the misfortune of dealing with, we were talking and I had some questions, and during our conversation he looked flustered and walked away, then just stood looking out the exit doors seemingly just watching motorcycles drive by outside as there was some sort of meet up going on. If there is some sort of customer relations training you provide, I suggest he goes through it again.
I went to B&Q Newhaven store to buy a mower and garden storage unit. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Andy, in particular, who loaded my trolly for me, took it to the checkout and then loaded it into my car. Thank you. I couldnt have asked for a better shopping experience. I will be back again.
My wife and I enquired at the kitchen section, wanting a unit or two. The help offered was minimal. We went to the row where the flat packed units we were told were located couldn't find the unit so asked if the person could show us. They just told us the same 2 rows down. They could not be bothered to get off their backside to show us. So. We went to wicks and ended up looking at a new kitchen. B&Q 0 Wicks 10.
Good local store that still had a few Christmas trees although not the spruces. Seemed expensive for the Norwegian Firs but the last few years I bought in the sale just before Christmas so they were probably fairly priced!
Apparently click and collect means incorrect stock levels shown online and the second half of your order is just not bothered with. All in all a terible service and waste of time. Oh and better yet your refund for the goods they thought they had can take up to 3 days to be returned to you. Won't be bothering with click and collect again!
The staff ate always friendly and helpful. I can always flying in and put with few ques. They have also installed about 6 new self service check outs that make it an even quicker visit. I seemed to arrive at a good time, roughly 3pm in the afternoon and they had reduced some curtains to 50p...It was incredible reductions, they were only single curtains but managed to get 4 packs for £2, probably would have cost me £50 plus at full prices.
Had to drive a long way to get this, due to B&Q not updating their website! Worth the drive as the item is nice, but come on B&Q, sort out your website!
