I just called this company as I couldn't get in to a front door I urgently needed access to. The very kind lady said she'd contact someone working locally who would likely be able to visit, but before doing that she talked me through how best to attack it myself and it worked! They weren't after anything in return and didn't push another service I didn't need. Very honest and helpful! We'll being coming back for all locksmith needs going forward!

Fantastic people, still open for business and with a wealth of knowledge. They're happy to help and go above and beyond to find parts that will be suitable for your project. Now located on the first floor since their main store closed down, don't let the front door fool you, just buzz to be let in, they're really friendly and competitively priced!

I think Dockerills are brilliant! Not only have I been to the church street shop many times for key cutting etc, where they have always been courteous and quick, but this morning my 'smart' front door lock (bought elsewhere) completely failed/died, so I was locked out of my house, and after a very reassuring phone call to the shop, the locksmith ' Gary' came and fixed things within about 30 minutes. I could not recommend them more highly! Thank you. Kennedy Bell

Brilliant store. I visited several times over two days to buy tools and bits of ironmongery (including some bolts which I had to return & swap because they were the wrong size) and get some keys cut. Staff were really helpful & friendly. I will be back!

Basically Dockerills is just brilliant. The staff are always really helpful, they know what they’re talking about and will do what they can to assist. They went above and beyond cutting a tricky key recently and persisted when many would have just said no. They’re my go-to for everything ironmongery and definitely worth a visit.

This is the very historical and traditional tools shop that you can find in Brighton. You can find very useful hand tools, accessories, paints..... and everything there. Sometimes you may find the vintage spare parts in their small corner. The staffs there are very experience and helpful. If you need to buy some tools in a convenient location, then you should visit this shop.
