I went in yesterday to get some bits to finish a job and they sold everything required. The lady who's name is should have remembered but didn't on this occasion (sorry) was as polite and professional as person I have come across in recent times. A user's manual if you like of how to operate a face to face business for any youngsters out there. Got a key cut as well at 25% of the price Timpsons quoted and thats a fact. Joined their merry club which I never do,and will only go there now to get my stuff. If she went out the back she'd probably have a sump for a mk 2 cortina!!!! Fantastic find.

I brought a very bent key and the knowledgeable and polite woman managed to copy 2 that both work! (In my eyes it should've been impossible). They also have an exceptional range of tools and bits for home and business. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Lovely and helpful service from a lady in store today. I needed a hammer, a particular screwdriver for a couple of different screws and some strong glue. She was knowledgeable, cheerful and conversational. I got everything I needed and a discount from joining their loyalty scheme (which only took a minute to sign up to) Very happy customer of this great little shop :)

if you are in a rush and live nearby it is likely you will find what you need, however, it's hard not to notice how grossly overpriced some things are...

Surprising amount of stuff for such a small shop - always seem to have what you need and the staff can't do enough for you

Really useful. Not many places left to buy so many useful things. Good quality items too. I go here always before going online and mostly find what I want.

Really not sure what has happened to this store as it seems that people only working for the ‘Local Guide’ are the ones posting reviews. I went in and asked for a key to be cut and expressly asked whether I needed to come back as it was important the key was cut accurately to me. The lady insisted I stay whilst she cut the key and it wasn’t a problem. Anyway key didn’t work, completely wrong and I had to return to get it done properly. On her second attempt she managed to get it right only after talking to her key supplier ?!? Then I was charged more money. Used to be a great little hardware store, not anymore I fear.

It's incredible just how much stuff they have in this tiny hardware shop. Under new management but they've kept the original staff on which is nice to see
