This is a good store . First time I've used this branch. Had everything I needed, including hire stuff. Recommended branch by me.
We went to look at kitchens here at the weekend and were served by Winnie who was so helpful and accommodating. Winnie was so genuine and happy to help. What an excellent member of staff, Travis Perkins should be so pleased to have her on the team. Thanks so much Winnie :)
Visited today for some advice on some building materials in the Eastbourne branch. A chap there named CLIVE Jackson (on invoice) assisted us Wasn't sure what to expect but this man came out of the store and walked us to the paving slabs options talking through the range. Absolutely outstanding impression what an utter credit to this company just completely stood out from others with both interest and help and was even a friendly face to my dog! Thank you again staff like this make it easy choice to return for future.
They never answered the phone. They agreed to collect the equipment to a time that was not suitable for me. They then agreed over the phone that they spoken to the driver and decided to collect the tools next day 2 hours after this call, a driver came to my address and as I was not in, he rang all angry and being sarcastic to me. I rang the store in eastbourne again to Complaint about it and they assured me, that the manager would call me that day as they were taking all of these very seriously. Well, still waiting. I received a text then for the tools to be collected from 8.30am to 10.45am Well, still waiting. Trying to call them but not answer. I think they aren’t that competitive and their customers services are very bad. Not happy with them and I won’t use again I couldn’t recommend this store to anyone.
Shocking service. Bad customer services. Keep well clear if you want your job done on time.
Staff in store are amazing and helpful but there's a forklift driver in there that definitely needs a change in job very rude and unprofessional
Needed some wood. It came in very long lengths. The man serving said the yard staff would cut the wood to fit in lengths for the car . It was added they didn't cut the wood to our exact measurements. The yard man said he wouldn't cut the wood as they didn't have a saw! We went elsewhere.
I visited travis today if you want to be ripped off go here the shell price for a Marshalltown brick jointer is £10.99 inc vat but I was charged £11.39 including vat I’m not that cheap to argue over 40p but I questioned it and apparently the price hasn’t been updated I think the manager is obviously not doing his job properly but more to the point the same tool is £5.98 in toolstation if I wasn’t in such a rush to get home I would of driven the 3 extra miles to TOOLSTATION So my advice go to TOOLSTATION OR SCREWFIX for tools and PARKERS/STAMCO for everything else as TP JUST CHANGE THE PRICES As and when they feel the need to
Helpful members of staff. Great knowledge if you need any added advice on your project. Prices are reasonable and often competitive compared to other building suppliers. Carpark on sight, but be careful of large lorries coming in and out.
