   Just taken delivery of some sleepers from the Hailsham branch. I must say the service both in store and at delivery point was excellent. I found that it’s definitely best to go in store rather than order online as you get the best deal and find out what’s in stock and available straight away. The staff at the trade desk were extremely helpful, very friendly and efficient, price was very competitive via trade account and delivery booked for 48 hours later. Delivery was fully trackable via a text link, they use what3words so no messing about with locating an awkward delivery site and the delivery guy was super helpful and very cheerful, even though he was greeted with a blocked road and a long track to walk down. Champion service. What a very good company! I highly recommend.

   Overworked and under performed Unfortunately could not deliver as they promised. Only purchased as Saturday delivery was promised a week ahead. The driver was very polite on the phone when he gave me the bad news that they could not deliver my £1700 delivery due to a van malfunction only half an hour before they closed. Waited in all morning with extra hands! When I turned up to cancel the order there were 2 lorries full of materials and he admitted it wasn’t a malfunction and they didn’t have time to unload the vehicle. What a joker! Absolutely useless, so I went to Alsfords across the road only for them to fulfill as agreed!!!!! Graham the assistant manager admitted there was no excuses and seemed to take great pride in passing the buck to poor old Ed Cox the manager who wasn’t even there or partial to any proceedings. A very bad set-up. Needs a re-shake!

   I ordered two maxi bags of sand from another supplier who passed the delivery onto Travis perkins. The delivery was on time, driver very polite and pleasant to talk to. He showed superior skill in off loading the bags into an awkward place under power lines and over the gates. Very happy with service. Not sure which branch delivered to me in Beckley but this looks like the closest one.

   Went to collect a click and collect order and despite a text message and an email confirming it was ready for collection it wasn't. Their own stock records showed that they had the item in stock but they didn't. A wasted journey. They need to sort out their stock control.
