   EC Forest Products supplied the oak for a pergola I had been asked to make. The ordering process was straightforward and the timber was delivered in the morning of the agreed date, perfect. The delivery driver was a nice fella, friendly/helpful. Jo in the office, was great, couldn't have been more helpful. I'll look forward to seeing you on instagram!

   I can only echo S Wood's review. A 3 week lead time was promised. After getting on for two months I still haven't received my order. I've phoned them countless times and when I can get through they promise to find out what's happening and call me back - but they never do. The last time I called, they said I'd be called back in 5 minutes - that was a week ago now. I've cancelled my order today and will go elsewhere. I suggest you do too. False promises and no courtesy. Avoid.

   First time at this amazing timber supplier. The quality and choice of oak etc available is extensive and the oak I have bought is of a very high quality. The service provided to me was second to none, nothing was too much trouble and a quick tour of the services and available products was very welcome, also my order was great value for money. If you need any specialist timber, or even just an oak gate, this is the place to get it from, highly recommend this timber supplier.

   Dreadful experience. These people did not have the courtesy even to respond to my polite and detailed complaint. Our telephoned order brought no response for a couple of weeks so I visited their site to find out what was happening. The order was traced, I paid in full and delivery was promised, with the assurance that a small flat-back truck would be used for the tricky entry to the rear of our premises. I stayed in all day. No delivery. Next day came a confused call from a frustrated driver, and I asked whether he had had my delivery directions. No. He was a contractor with no connection to EC Forest Products - and driving an 18-ton truck! He did manage to park near our back gate, causing a some traffic disruption to local residents. It was impossible to get an 18-tonner through the gate. He asked where was my fork lift. He said that in Terms and Conditions I would have been told I was responsible for unloading. No way did I have any such instruction - and if I had, the order would have been cancelled. The driver said he was prohibited under H and S from helping me. So (almost) single-handed I had to unload and carry 34 eight- and four-foot oak sleepers some 15 metres into our property, a total weight of 1.1 tonnes. Good job I'm only 72 and not in my eighties, isn't it, Mr ECFP? Shabby, thoughtless treatment. No more business from me. I am particularly offended by the lack of any response or apology.
