Food was gorgeous although could of been a little warmer. Service was fantastic. My only issue was the very rude boss (Tim) who should learn how to speak to customers, after spending over £400 on Sunday (food & drink for 9 people) he should not be so arrogant. The pub was extremely hot almost to the point that we had to keep going outside to cool down.

My second visit. Lovely pub and a beautiful Sunday dinner. Great service too. Dropped one star for atmosphere as despite it being full and bustling I was cold. The radiators weren't on so would have been much more pleasant with heat now it's nearly Winter.

Came here for the first time with family last weekend and had the three meat roast and cauliflower cheese which was like a meal itself, the food was delicious, staff friendly and quick service, dog friendly if you have been on a dog walk or just want to take them with you.

We had a gorgeous Sunday roast trying the pork and chicken - excellent food, amazing service, very, very loud. Food - The food was excellent, I've had a great many roasts in my time and this was one of the best, as you can see in the video the pork pulled apart with a fork and it was so juicy, the chicken came as a supreme and was very generous, the only thing worth mentioning as a negative is there was such a variety of veg that the portions of each felt mean (that's subjective and barely worth mentioning) Service - Fantastic all the way, ordering is split between food and drinks, food is ordered at the table and drinks are ordered at the bar. The server took our order really quick and the food came out very fast. They were attentive but not intrusive, A+. Drink service was swift and professional, we had soft drinks and after I had ordered they were brought straight to the table, again, this was swift. A service charge is added to the bill. Atmosphere - The bar itself is aesthetically pleasing with a reclaimed, hipsterish vibe. It's a massive open space with the bar in the centre and this is where the issues begin. It's loud, aggressively loud, I couldn't hear my partner or the staff at all and given the complete lack of soft furnishings every sound echoes around and around. As someone with sensory issues I struggled. The seating and tables are mismatched which is cute but I barely managed to get my legs under the table as the seats were too tall, the tables are also packed in close and I spent half my meal with my back touching the person behind me. There is a soft seating area at the back of the bar which I didn't see until I had already eaten, it's a much quieter and more comfortable area and I really wish I had seen it earlier. To be clear it's pretty and if you're into the whole community eating, cacophony thing, it's a good atmosphere. Accessibility - Poor, it's very tight, you won't get a wheelchair through it, it's loud so bad for people with sensory issues, there's no parking lot so you take your chances on the very tight streets outside and you'll struggle to order drinks as there are tables surrounding the bar.

We live in the area and popped in for some lunch on a Saturday. It was busy but we managed to get a table. The menu was clearly labelled with veggie, vegan and gluten free options which was really helpful. The food itself was great, really good quality and large portions. We will definitely be back!

I really like this pub, they have done a nice job in making it feel homely and classic with the decor, but still modern and looked after. I like that they have some craft beer although the selection could be a better. And the food here has been very good historically. All in all a recommended visit if you're in Norwich, the sort of place I would take a visiting American to show them an example of a good British pub. I have never stayed here however so I couldn't comment on the rooms.

Best pub roast I've ever had! And more than one veggie option for the roast. Really delicious. Also love the pub itself, nice decor and friendly staff
