Attended a Christmas event here. Food was really good, staff were friendly at attentive. Could do with better signage as the taxis were dropping people off at the wrong place
Disappointingly there was no Sunday Roast when we arrived. Apparently they don't do it during the summer months. The menu that was available was quite limited: sandwiches, loaded fries, etc. The driveway is not friendly for anything other than 4x4s either... Be careful if you have a low car.
We came to the Mother's Day Sunday Roast. Wow! Best roast dinner I've had in years! The staff were super lovely and friendly too. The food was hot, delicious and the salmon was the best I've ever had! Moist, delicious, plenty of it. Everything was so yummy and a good price too. Will definitely be back for more roasts!
The burger and chips are horrible. Low quality gristly meat and under cooked chips. Cheap mayo serviced with the food. Id rather not see the lakeside view and be in a dungeon with quality food than eat here again. Staffed with young people who are a bit slow. Cant blame them but management hasnt trained them well enough
Very disappointed. Ridiculously fatty meat, water gravy and so many flies. Saving grace were the potatoes and yorkies. No idea why this is rated so highly.
We recently visited for a Sunday roast, this was one of the nicest roasts we have had whilst dining out in a long time. Plenty of food, freshly cooked and full of flavour. Staff are really friendly also
We had a lovely breakfast for a special birthday absolutely great food the children were catered for and service was perfect we are all full up and happy so a big thankyou to Richard .
Friendly staff, very welcoming. Very tasty Sunday lunch. Highly recommended.
