   I have been registered at Brynteg Dental Practice since 1999. Due to previous failures I required a lot of dental treatment, which meant regular 3/4 monthly appointments ongoing. Having had an accident, approximately 13yrs ago, I damaged 6 front teeth. I received the most valuable support and care from this practice, from the ladies on reception, the dental nurses, the technicians and most importantly my dentist. It took almost a year from that point to receiving my implants, however the time was the least important issue, because at each stage this practice made sure it was the right process for me personally, and I can’t thank or praise them enough. 26yrs on I still receive 3/4 monthly appointments with the same dentist, some familiar faces have moved on, but Nik is still there making sure that any dental work is carried out with the same care and diligence I received on my first appointment. I have met ex work colleagues that travel long distances to receive treatment at this practice because they’re the best at what they do. Thank you.

   After putting off having implants for years,I looked around on the internet who was the best expert in Wales to do the job,my dentist recommended Nick patel at Brynteg Ammanford,I then contacted my friends daughter Jayde who works for Brynteg at another practice,she also assured me that Nick was the top man for the job.I contacted Brynteg for a consultation.When I got there and met Nick my mind was put to rest instantly,he assured me that the procedure would not be too painful at all,I then returned in a few weeks and had six or seven front teeth removed and had a temporary denture fitted while the gums healed,when the numbness went away I did not experience any pain whatsoever,after a couple of months I then returned to have my implants fitted,after the procedure I was given 2 painkillers on leaving and told to take more for the next day or two but to my amazement I did not need anymore because I was completely pain free.a couple more months after that my teeth were fitted which I was over the moon with.Nick and the girls were fantastic and I would recommend to anybody thinking of having dental procedure.My partner has had implants with Nick now and she is also really happy with the outcome.After spending so much time with Nick he feels more like a friend than my dentist.

   New patient. First impressions were positive. Receptionist Sarah was welcoming and supportive. Saw Nik who had been recommended to me. Despite nerves, he allowed me to feel at ease and held a constructive conversation regarding available options. Immediately put at ease and I look forward to using this dental surgery for the future.
