    Absolutely love this pub! The music, the atmosphere, the drink selection - which is diverse on draft and bottles, not to mention the incredible spirit selection you won’t find in many other places around here. The best thing though has to be the staff! James the landlord and Chris the bartender are fantastic, friendly & funny. They are the epitome of the vibe in the pub.

The beer selection is top-notch, with a great range of local and regional ales on draft — fresh, well-kept, and poured with care. And for cider lovers, they’ve got some seriously good traditional options on tap that are hard to come by elsewhere. The food? Just what you want from a pub — good, honest, hearty fare. No frills, no fuss, just proper portions, cooked well, and served with a smile. Exactly what you need to go alongside a pint or two. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly. Had a genuinely great time here — great drinks, great food, great people. Already looking forward to the next visit. Highly recommend

    What's not to like about this lovely little pub set in a residential area of NR3. Great atmosphere live music weekly plus competitive prices for drinks with a nice selection of local beers, wines, and spirits. I also recently ate a sunday roast here and have to say it tasted amazing the food was delicious and presented well. Great service from the staff who served me my meal. Highly recommend a visit as there are also plenty of tables/benches for relaxation outside of the pub during the spring/summer months.

    Really great venue with both traditional pub values and a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The live music is always excellent and equally it’s a nice place to go for a catch up with friends over a few drinks :-) Fantastic selection too!

    Lovely suburban pub. I had not visited before but found it listed on an ale finder app. It had a great selection of real ales and they were very well kept. I found the barman friendly and there was a good atmosphere on an early Saturday evening. It's been a long time since I've seen a bar billiards table too. Note that there is no car park and it's not easy to find a non resident's space nearby. This pub is dog friendly.

    The new Marlborough is already a marvellous pub with a great selection of beer - the tiny rebel IPA is our favourite. Now they do food - my husband loves chicken wings and this bowl of honey, ginger and soy wings made him very happy. We will be trying more off the menu, the small plates looked good.
