Dropped in for a drink and meal on a Saturday night. Unfortunately they don't serve food, so they encouraged us to order from 'deliveroo'. The Bar was very crowded, but there was ample empty tables outside, which was actually probably the better option. Saturday night they had a live band playing outside who were quite good, and created a lively atmosphere. Overall, it was a good night, the beer was good, band/atmosphere was good. The need to order food online was not an inconvenience, although I must admit, it's the first time I've done that at a PUB but, if it works, why not.

Had some great local Norfolk ale here, nice pub. Top service - more than once the staff ensured my pint was topped up after the initial pour without any prompting. Also there was a pizza van (with a proper pizza oven), which we didn't sample but think is a great idea.

We went here for a drink on a Friday night. The pub is lovely with a great atmosphere. There were a few tables empty when we turned up which was good as it meant we could sit down! Beware that it is card only though here.

Really nice pub. Huge beer garden at the back that does pizza on stone baked pizza oven. Has a pub dog called Harvey who is lovely. Doesn't accept Scottish notes. Be warned. Retractable sun roof. Pub quiz on a Wednesday. Lots of discs inside and out. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Contactless. Bottle wine for 13.50.

Well, what can I say about this place. My best friend and her Fiance married this weekend at Norwich Castle, and held their Wedding Reception here. We had an amazing day. Much of this was due to Steve the Landlord, and his staff. What a lovely man, and, the staff were an amazing young team. They could not do enough for us. So friendly, so sweet and polite. An absolute credit to the venue and Steve. Thank you Steve for allowing us to come in early to set up, so much appreciated. Very kind of you. A superb friendly pub, enhanced by the regulars of the "four legged" kind. All eager to have a tummy rub, or a doggy treat from behind the bar. Excellent dog friendly place. The pets were all under control and not rollocking about the place. Even if you are not a pet fan, this place is a must to visit as they were all impeccably behaved. Had we have not been staying at a hotel, we certainly would have brought our four legged friends with us. The wedding party were not all local people. We ranged from Ireland, to Leeds, to Londoners, with a few Norwich folk thrown in. All of the regulars made us totally welcome. From me, who ran pubs for over 26 years and my family and friends, whom many of us have been in this industry, and know what makes a good pub, a massive thank you to you, Steve, and your staff. When I am next down that way, I will certainly return. Clean, friendly, good choice of beers, food, dogs, wonderful staff and quite simply, a beautiful pub. You must pay it a visit!!
