A lovely pub with a great atmosphere! A proper old school football pub with great service and a really wide selection of drinks. We came in for the Everton game and stayed for the live music!
John is very welcoming me and my buddy Harley have been coming for a number of years. Great selection of food (nuts & crisps). Never had a bad pint especially Guinness one of the best in the land. Music most weekends and charity fundraisers throughout the year.

Fabulous local public house and perfect venue for wakes and funeral teas. Friendly landlord and catering by Henry’s Coffee Shop Great car parking and close to St Faiths and Earlham Crematoriums plus many local churches They host music events to and pop up street food on a regular basis

I took my 11 yr old Granddaughter for an afternoon tea in the Tea room & it was lovely. Very friendly ladies working in there. The food was all homemade & delicious & very reasonable prices. My Granddaughter doesn't like butter in sandwiches & they made her some without . We had a choice of fillings. What we couldn't quite manage to eat they boxed for us to take home. Will definitely be paying another visit.
Excellent lunch small tea room attached to pub. Although not part of pub, home cooked lunch, fresh sandwiches and homemade cakes. I had a Brie and Cranberry sandwich there was plenty of filling and very tasty, my husband has ham egg and chip again was very tasty, lovely pot of tea ,I will definitely visit again, and all VERY reasonable excellent value
