   One the best pubs in the United Kingdom and rightly so. When you think of going to the pub, you think of this, amazing selection of beers and ciders that would even make the best pubs in the south west gasp at, even brew their own cat themed beers which are delicious! I drove 5 hours from Cheshire and glad I did, it’s one of the best. I was there a long time because why go anywhere else

   Exploring NR2 for the first time, discovered this locally famous pub! Great selection of beers and ales! Probably best I’ve seen. Lovely pint of Erdinger for £6. Definitely a pub for the boys in my opinion.

   This place has been recommended to me over a few decades. So, it was really good to visit at last, and it didn't disappoint. In an age of modern bars it's reassuring to walk into something that epitomises a traditional British boozer. It also helps that the wide range of beers are carefully looked after and presented.

   I had a roast today and they were so accommodating! I’m 7 months pregnant and was so sad to not be allowed the cauliflower cheese (contained blue cheese!) and they made me a Cheddar cheese portion which was absolutely delicious. The entire meal was stunning, staff were friendly and service was quick. Will definitely be back!
