Not only will you find a treat for yourself but you will be supporting a local independent business and one of my favourite shops.
We’ve attended events over the year, visited the wine shop and had a blind tasting put together for a night in with friends (we enjoyed the wine, experience and had some curve balls that surprised us!) I love the hand written labels and descriptions on the bottles in the shop - awesome range and we have also been able to discover some fantastic local producers as a result.

Wow what a find!! Palate has something for everyone! Whether you’re a keen beer drinker, avid wine taster or even low/no alcohol is your go to then Palate WILL have something for you, all year through! The passion and expertise Verity shares with all her customers is truly awesome! Very chuffed to have found a locally run beer/bottle shop that’s easily accessed and less than 100meters from the train station, perfect after an evening of tasting wines or beers that you wouldn’t otherwise get the opportunity to.
