Extremely chuffed with my new car and the service received from B-M-W Norwich. Rish was great on our 2 x visits! Respected that we were cash buyers and did not continue to then push on finance (like a lot of reviews I’ve seen state and complain of in general) top Friendly service upon full process! Tom was fantastic too upon our collection for final handovers, it was a smooth, quick and friendly process from beginning to end as a cash buyer with a part exchange too!. I did check reviews before visiting and had some apprehension from what I read- but my personal experience has been tops! Also- the Graphene extra is amazing!!! Thank you B-M-W Norwich and the lovely staff we dealt with throughout this process- we are over the moon with our new VW Tiggy :) 5*!!!

We had a wonderful test drive with our Salesperson Chris and wanted to return next week to purchase the car when he was in. Not on finance as it was not needed. Chris was super knowledgeable, friendly. Things took an ugly turn when we sat down to discuss coming back next week with our funds so we could purchase the car. Chris was going back and forth passing messages from the Manager about financing instead and why we can’t get the funds automatically today. In the end the Manager came out and started talking about compound interest, his own knowledge of stocks and shares alongside his doubt in why “his money gets deposited automatically, why can’t ours?”. We were shocked by the offer of financial advice and have discussed taking it further with the FCA between ourselves. I think about all the different situations in which a person could come and look at a car, then ask if it is OK to come back next week to buy. The refusal that they will experience at BMW Norwich is something which makes me upset for future customers and people with a level of financial naivety. They could be waiting on inheritance, a big payout or for some other reason they don’t want to discuss. Well. Be prepared to discuss it with your Salesperson and the Manager!! And they WILL go hard on financing. So be comfortable with that discussion. We personally had questions such as “that’s weird, how is that set up then?” And “If you don’t mind me asking where are your finances held?” We “stormed” out because of the Managers etiquette alone. Chris was good and the showroom looks great.

A few weeks ago I bought my dream car - a BMW 1 Series and everything was fine until two weeks later I got an engine fault. I immediately contacted Big Motoring World to discuss getting the issue sorted as I had purchased the 12month warranty too. They explained that unless I drove the car back to them (50+ miles in a car within an undiagnosed engine fault) they would not pay for a local garage to check the car out. I decided I did not want to do this and a local mechanic diagnosed as a severe electrical fault to the engine's heat management system and recommended I take to a BMW dealer for review. Big Motoring World insisted I drive back to them in the faulty car for them to diagnose and do work. I explained I did not want to damage the car further and would be taking to BMW to fix. Once BMW confirmed the fault and provided details of the work required (including repairs that need a BMW specialist to resolve due to the electrical requirements) Big Motoring World explained as they could fix it for £680 they would not pay for the £1.2k quoted by BMW. When asked, Big Motoring World would not provide evidence their techs were authorised by BMW to complete the works on the car. They tried absolutely everything to get away with not paying for the work. They did not comply with the Consumer Rights Act and refused to acknowledge their requirement to comply with it. The 12 month warranty essentially means any repairs must be done by them (the 1000 authorised garages they claim to have are non-existent) and this limitless claim value apparently is only up to the value that they want to pay not what actually needs doing. Do not purchase it - it's not even worth the paper it's printed on. I rejected the car as I was within the 30 day period and will luckily be receiving a full refund. Unfortunately seen plenty of other people online experiencing the same problems.

I came to buy 2 series I had my own finance. There was keep pushing me to buy their finance. Also I have told them that I am not interested in any other extra product they made me listen and we had to go through otherwise apparently they can’t sell the car to me that was really disappointing time wasting

Myself and my partner bought a cars in the last week she collected hers on Sunday 27th July and I collected mine on Monday 28th July. Yesterday Tuesday 29th mine came up with an engine fault and went into limp mode, and today Wednesday 30th July my partners car has a abs fault, hill start fault and tire inflation sensor error The staff are friendly and approachable and Jack was great that is the only reason I’ve given 2 stars But both cars will be getting rejected *Update* We dropped my partners car at the branch straight after work as it was about 15 minutes there instead of the 40 minutes home…. The member of staff on the front desk was nice enough took our details and asked us to sit down and a manger would be out to speak to us.. a few moments later he did but never once during this was there an apology for the state of the vehicle or even an attempt to try and help us resolve the issue he just said they would be in contact with us tomorrow and felt as if he wanted us out of the store as soon as possible and avoided any conversation about the ongoing issues. Whilst we are still left to try and get my car to the dealer which they have told us to use the RAC who on the phone to my partner said it was unacceptable on the dealers part…

On 4 September my wife and I came to your Norwich store to purchase a car. From the sales person to the business manager (Nathan) we received the most amazing service. We picked the car up and noticed a slight error with the check engine light that was on. From that moment on the level of service we received went up a few gears and I am amazed to say that never in my life have I had such friendly and efficient service in sorting out the issue on the car. I was offered a courtesy car while they fixed our car and we were kept in the loop the entire time. The service team went above and beyond to show us what true customer service is all about. I am left speechless at how great everyone one in your branch is. Especially the service team in their professionalism. When we are due to buy another car I can assure you that we will support your store and we will advise everyone we know that is looking for a car to go to your store.

We came to CarShop Norwich a couple of days ago to buy a car, and had a fantastic experience from start to end. We were greeted at the door by customer consultant Sophie, who was friendly and attentive, and very happy to help me find my first car. She quickly found a car on the system that was within our budget that suited my needs, and within a few minutes we were out on a test drive. The car was perfect, absolutely loved it, and when we got back to the centre, Sophie handed us over to business manager Jack, who handled the fine print and finances with ease and professionalism, and answered our questions fully without making us feel silly for asking. We then went away for a couple of hours while the car was being cleaned and valeted, and upon our return we were directed to Jack in collections to go through the final bits of paperwork that needed doing, and he was also very friendly and explained everything well. We had a wonderful experience at CarShop Norwich, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new car.

Had owned my current car for 5 years, looking for a bigger vehicle to go camping with. Went in not really expecting to walk away with a car today, but Taylor walked me through everything assisting in every way he could, and he isn't bad at making a cup of tea either. UPDATE. While sales stick to their customer first ethos, they are dramatically let down by their service department. I bought an £8000 car two days ago, it has faults that need looking into, but I am yet to be able to speak with anyone even after promised call backs. I have been advised to drop my car off on a Thursday and leave it there all day, so one of their technicians can look it over to say If there is a fault. The fault was worrying as the engine malfunction and management lights had come on putting the car in lip mode, but Craig advised me to continue driving it until something went wrong as they could not fit me in until my pre booked appointment leaving the car with them all day. The fault was found to be piping that had come loose, taking 5 hours to fix and put right. I waited a total of two weeks to get the service book and spare keys to the vehicle, they would also not replace the low battery that had been caused by being left standing for so long under warranty. Due to the service book not being available, i had to pay Ford £28 to unlock my radio after the battery had been replaced. Having left my car with them for a second time to look into in car entertainment connection issues I had been expierencing. Their car electric technician declared there was no fault, Craig within their customer service team stated he had no answer to why I was still expierening these faults when Nick had said it was working fine. I was informed I was welcome to take my car to get a second opinion, I took it to a garage I've used for over 10 years who agreed there was a connection fault, and suggested taking it to Busseys Ford dealer to be looked at. £133 later for a full diagnostic and health check on the vehicle, a faulty entertainment/ bluetooth module was found to be the fault. Written report in hand, I took it to Carshop to present it to customer services, Craig was unable to say if it would be covered under warranty as I did not have a written estimate, but would discuss with his manager if it could be. I was then passed onto Julie, who was also unable to authorise the Bluetooth module being replaced without speaking to her manager as it was a cost of £544.40 to replace. I would have to wait until the store manager was out of a business meeting, before it could be authorised. I recieved a call on the 22/6/22 from Julie informing me the repairs had been authorised under warranty, and that she would be contacting Busseys to arrange a a booking. I visited Busseys to see if they had been contacted, they had not. I arranged with Busseys a booking to have the work carried out, then visited Carshop again to inform them. I was told by Julie that as I had made the appointment myself the bill would go to me, she had apparently spent the morning attempting to call Busseys. Returning to Busseys, they had received no calls from Carshop. One of their professional service team reassured me that the bill would go to Carshop not me, and took the time to even ring Carshop to confirm authorisation and booking. Julie then became unprofessionally rude with the member of Busseys Service team. However all has been resolved, with my required repairs being carried out at Busseys under the Carshop warranty. If anyone asked me if I would recommend Carshop, I most definitely would not. Craig and Julie are the most unprofessional customer service staff, you are belittled for even considering there may be a fault with your vehicle.

I visited today to discuss cars. While you have a lot of cars none fitted my needs. Five stars are due to the great member of staff who dealt with me.
