Allen’s of Olney provided all of our suits for our wedding and also a fully fitted suit for my husband. Ashley is incredible and his industry knowledge is exceptional. The suits were of great quality and everyone at the wedding complimented the groomsman for looking so smart! Excellent service throughout. Managed to get an appointment at relatively short notice and they were able to supply a quality evening suit whilst accomodating a couple of extras. No problems collecting on agreed date and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Appalling and disappointing service. We intended to purchase wedding party suits from Allen's but they never materialised. We originally popped in for a prebooked appointment in early November for suits at the end of May. Suits chosen were not currently in stock, but assured they were due to arrive late December/Early January. Ashley advised that he would contact us in order to purchase following arrival (denied offer of deposits or measurements in advance). No contact from Ashley and when we telephoned to ask whether they were in stock, were told they had arrived and to pop in again to take measurements. Arrived to appointment and were advised that suits were then unavailable and stock already sold out. Again, advised we would hear when next shipment arrived. It has been in total 7 months and heard absolutely nothing. Fearing this might happen in March, we reverted to Montague Jeffrey in Northampton (who have been brilliant in sourcing the same suits in such a shorter time frame). I never leave reviews but thought it necessary to comment on the awful customer service.
Having to book as a rush, Ashley dealt with our fitting with great professionalism. A very painless experience all sorted for the big day. Thank you to Ashley for accommodating us at such short notice. Would highly recommend.
Great customer service provided at Allan’s of Olney. Purchased 3 piece suit - high quality navy. Required trouser length alterations, which Ashley kindly managed to turn around swiftly. Will be back!
We visited this very elegant traditional tailoring and hire shop with gentleman's wedding suits and formal wear in the beautiful village of Olney. There is also a wide range of ladies and gentleman's clothing for sale too. The customer service was spot on, we arrived early for our appointment but this wasn't a problem, very friendly and professional made us feel welcomed and safe. There is a free 3hr car park opposite, access into the shop was on a level path, all of menswear is on the ground floor, changing room are located on the same with one small step, staff were very helpful.
