A lovely, nurturing space for babies. The staff have been wonderful, providing a very loving touch to their care, and giving thorough feedback throughout the day. They have a beautiful garden area which my daughter loves with lots of activities for little ones to enjoy. I thoroughly recommend.
As with many environments, the quality is in the people. Since Janet has joined the team, we have seen more activities for the children and ones that greatly aid in their early development. An extra investment has also gone into some of the little things such as new toys, to keep the children interested and learning. Each of the team have their individual strengths but as a team, they can cover the welfare and development, not mention enjoyment and happiness of all ages in the nursery. The children can be seen to bond is a very positive way with some of the childminders which helps with their social skills too.
My oldest son attended Apple tree Ovingdean since he was 11 months old until he went to school. My second son is now attending. Apple tree has the most nurturing and caring team. The garden is a toddlers dream and the activities the staff put on for the kids are so imaginative. Both my sons loved every minute of their time at Apple tree. It’s a really special place.
We’re so pleased we found Apple Tree nursery! Our daughter has been going for 18 months since we moved to the area and it has to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! The location is fantastic with a huge garden for the little ones to play and explore. It’s a really homely and welcoming environment which was so important to us. The team there are absolutely incredible and so caring & loving towards your little ones! They plan so much fun stuff for the children and I’m always amazed by all the arts and crafts they make. They really know how to make learning fun with their energetic enthusiasm. It really fills my heart hearing my daughter tell me everything that she’s been doing and seeing the excitement in her face. Her overall development has continuously improved, so much so that I feel she’s going to have a smooth transition into ‘big school’ life! She has made some amazing friends at Apple Tree and all the children are always full of smiles and clearly having a great time! I really can’t recommend Apple Tree enough and so grateful for all the team.
Really lovely, small nursery. Staff are friendly, kind and caring and stay in touch throughout the day with pictures and updates. Build up a great rapport with the children. I rarely get tears when dropping off my son as he has such a lovely time (and on the odd day that I do you they share a photo moments later of him laughing and playing). There's a real emphasis on outdoor play so the kids get loads of fresh air and exercise. Would highly recommend to friends and family. A lovely place!
My daughter was at AppleTree from 9 months old. She looked forward to going every day and it was a really lovely environment for her. The team are fantastic and bring a lot of fun and energy to the setting, and my daughter regularly brought home very creative bits of artwork as well as, more recently, papers demonstrating her developments in copying/writing and drawing. It’s a small nursery and my daughter has made some good friends there.
My son has been at AppleTree Nursery for two years since he was 1 year old and he loves it there. It is a small environment where each child can be monitored and it known individually. although large enough to enable friendships and social interactions. The large garden allows for lots of exploration and fun in all seasons and the rabbits and chickens keep the children entertained. The staff are all lovely and caring and warm.
