“The host put on a fantastic act of a mad scientist. The rooms and props were all of high quality. The puzzles and whole experience was fun, challenging and bewildering. And the interaction from Dave the ai computer was really well done. Charmingly cheesy. Highly recommended.”
“I could not have asked for more caring staff for my son. When he started the nursery, he was behind developmentally as he was born 9 weeks early. Staff have supported his development throughout, going above and beyond to ensure he is happy and secure. The communication with parents is exceptional- we can make contact whenever necessary and are guaranteed a prompt and in depth response from staff. I was well supported when my son was undergoing developmental tests at the hospital- Vanessa gave me huge amounts of her time, which I did not expect. The SENDCO support is outstanding- my son's additional needs were promptly identified and we were given exceptional support, including extra meetings, involvement from third parties, and numerous phone calls. I couldn't ask for a better setting. My younger son has joined now too, and loves it! The staff are phenomenal- my son's adore them. Staff stay for years and there has been no staff turnover since my boys started. They still have the same key staff for the entire 2 years of preschool, which is wonderful.”
“My daughter has been with Hove Station since she was 4 months and will sadly be leaving shortly after her 3rd birthday due to us relocating. Every single person we have had contact with over the years has been nothing but kind and professional. The Nursery is clean, spacious and very well equipped. If we have ever had any queries the Management Team have responded very quickly. It is no surprise that their Ofsted report was Outstanding and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for everything Hopscotch Hove Station!”
“Such a wonderful nursery, my daughter settled in so well in the beginning and runs in every morning without a backward glance. The staff are so friendly and caring. The activities are varied and interesting, lots of fun for the children with really inventive ways for the children to learn key skills. The trips the children go on are an added bonus. The spaces for each age group are well-designed and furnished for each developmental stage. The nursery is just such a wonderful, nurturing setting.”
“We loved using the dance space. Everyone was extremely friendly. We used the space to run wellbeing days and therapeutic groups, it was perfect. The building is accessible, very bright and clean. Everything we needed. Thank you so much to all the staff for being so incredibly accommodating with our unique needs.”
“Fabulous experience, wonderful atmosphere. The volunteers do a great job and every performance I have seen here has been excellent.”
“Hopscotch has been an absolute delight for our family. Our daughter has been attending for about 6 months now, and we couldn't be happier with her experience. The staff at the nursery are incredibly caring and attentive, ensuring that our daughter feels safe and loved throughout her time there. We can see how genuinely invested they are in her well-being. Not only is our daughter happy at the nursery, but she is also thriving. The nursery provides a nurturing environment where she has the opportunity to learn, play, and grow. The activities and curriculum are thoughtfully designed to stimulate her curiosity and encourage her development. We are delighted to see her blossom into a confident and independent individual. Additionally, we are grateful for how well the nursery prepared our son for his transition to reception. The nursery's focus on early education and school readiness truly made a difference. Our son entered reception with a solid foundation, both academically and socially. The nursery's dedication to preparing children for their next educational steps is commendable. Overall, we highly recommend the hopscotch to any parent seeking a warm and enriching environment for their child. It's a place where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We couldn't be more grateful for the positive impact it has had on our children's lives.”
“I cannot recommend Hopscotch nursery highly enough. Our daughter started attending when she was 20 months old. The team were incredibly supportive to both our daughter and us during the settling in process. Since starting, our daughter’s confidence as well as language development has been incredible. She absolutely loves going in and has built strong relationships with her key workers and other children. The team are very good at keeping us updated on activities and development. I particularly appreciate that I was encouraged to always call if I want to check in. It’s very reassuring knowing your child is in such safe and caring hands.”
“My 16 month old son attends Bluebell Barn. We have been absolutely delighted with the nursery. The staff go above and beyond, they are so nurturing and really want to see the children blossom. Our son's gone from a very timid baby to a confident young toddler and I have no doubt that it is from starting nursery and the support he's had. I echo all the 5 star reviews below!”
“We always have a good experience at carrots Cafe.”
“Visited today with my 2yr old and we loved it. Lots of free parking, not cheap but the toys and set up is excellent along with the coffee. Socks must be worn for adults and kids. Please note google maps will not take you to the correct place so use the pin drop on the street to guide you.”
“Love The Dome, every gig has a fantastic atmosphere there. Recently saw The Divine Comedy here, such a great gig.”
“My first time here, what a fantastic venue. Love the place 2 gigs and a film all at the same time all managed seamlessly but the super friendly guy on the door.”
“If you’re interested in toys, models, legos etc it’s an amazing short visit. We stopped by because my husband adores these stuff, and spent more time than usual but you can easily look around in 20mins. Small but lovely. Staff was lovely and friendly, too.”
“Loved it! Seeing the city from up there was amazing! I definitely want to come back on a clearer day and see more!”
“My son and I visited TeamSport Brighton today and had an absolutely brilliant time. We were the only two on track, which meant we managed 24 fast laps in the first session – an incredible experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially the site manager and Hugo, who went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely customer-focused. A really enjoyable visit and a pleasure to be there. We’ll definitely be back.”
“Really useful information and courses, a toy library, plus a great free toddler group on a Monday.”
“The sensory room and magic carpet are great for babies and toddlers to keep them entertained on a rainy afternoon. Be sure to call up and book.”
“We went there for a live music concert held in the nave which is itself stunning....People and venue and concert are all fabulous.”
“Worth booking ahead to save a little money. £20 each person. The i360 holds maximum 200 people. Views were fantastic. Best on a clear sunny day. Or evening sunset. Bar service was great. We enjoyed a glass of champagne as we travelled upwards to the highest spot.”
“Quirky but really fun attraction , very helpful staff who help you take some amazing upside down pictures. Approx time 20mins in house, well worth a visit. NB next to Brighton i360. Value for money admission price.”
“We saw "Sunny Afternoon" amazing show, we had the royal box and the whole experience was joyful. Great staff polite friendly and very helpful. Loved the experience.”
“Hobbycraft in Brighton is a solid option for anyone interested in arts, crafts, or creative hobbies. The store offers a wide range of products, including supplies for painting, candle making, photography, and much more. It’s a versatile place that caters to beginners and experienced hobbyists alike. The staff are friendly and approachable. They are willing to help if you have questions or need guidance on materials, which adds a nice personal touch to the shopping experience”
“Sea Life Brighton is such a beautiful experience. Captivated by its stunning marine displays and historic charm. The underwater tunnel and interactive exhibits make the visit both educational and mesmerizing. A perfect blend of conservation, beauty, and family friendly adventure!”
“Visits for a child's 8th birthday. Kids all kept together in VIP area with unlimited play. Then 2nd hour eating, could have been more organized with drink and food at the same time 3 kids had to wait and didn't get food until the rest of the party finished eating.”

“My nieces and I had the pleasure of attending one of the workshops at the New Forest festival. Their mother is now booking them for a party as her little darlings have been talking nonstop about the experience since!”
“We took our youngest and his friends to watch Bad Guys 2. Its been over a decade since I last attended Cineworld due to our location, however it has improved massively. It was clean, the staff were fully engaged and the seats were comfortable. Of course you pay a fortune for popcorn, but it's a business, they have overheads and need to make a profit, it just the price you pay for a decent day out.”
“Hannah has been amazing at helping me find some Nanny work. She always keeps me in the loop and contacts me about any jobs that she thinks are suitable for me. Hannah is always on hand for any advice, I have never struggled to contact her about anything. I have had many interviews and found some work through Stella Childcare which would not have happened without Hannah’s help!”
“We had a wonderful experience with this nursery. My little son started in the Robins room, when he was two, and then moved to the Swallow when he turned three. In both cases, he had really enjoyed his time there. The nursery offers a very friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a rich variety of stimulating activities for the children. The staff are highly qualified and genuinely care about the children. In fact, I cannot speak highly enough of the nursery staff that my son had while he was with the Swallow. They have been amazing under so many aspects, and I could see that he developed a real bond with them: they really were like a second family to him. My little boy really flourished during his time there, and I was particularly impressed by the way how the practitioners got to know each child very well, and were genuinely caring and enjoying about their progresses”
