We did Edith, I wished they were a higher variety of puzzles but we enjoyed them still, a bit scary, definitely got some screams out of us ahahaha, enjoyed the uniqueness of the story behind the room. “I highly recommend this place for families with young children! It’s amazing how much fun you can have inside a historic house. Each room had toys and displays that caught my three-year-old twin boys’ attention, and they spent the whole day there! It was raining, so they could play indoors as much as they wanted, which was perfect. It’s even better that National Trust members can visit for free. There are still places we haven’t seen yet, so I’d love to come back someday.”

“Didn't know what a gem this was! Free entry for this place is mad. It has so much to see. There was art, taxidermy, ceramics, history of war room. A cafe on the ground floor too. So much to see and can easily spend a good hour or two here. The staff were pleasant and helpful, too.”

“We had my sons 8th Birthday party here last weekend and it was a superb experience hosted by a lovely young lady called Emily. She was helpful, incredibly bright and bubbly and really added to the event. She also managed to control over 20 feral kids and 2 overly competitive adults. We had 2 games of laser quest, had access to the climbing wall and all of the children got a turn on the VR experience which was a great way to end the party. They also catered with pizza and drinks. The cost was under £350 all in and I'd absolutely recommend it as a party venue. Theres already 2 more parties booked for other kids in our sons class they enjoyed it so much.”

“Watched Mine Craft and now Lilo and Stitch (real life) with the kids and loved it! The venue was clean and the staff were friendly. The cinema is huge with plenty to offer. There's a bar which I assume, is open in the evening, again adding to the experience. The seats are comfy and there's a bit of movement on the back suggesting a slight recline. We bring our own drinks and snacks as I simply can't justify the prices they charge at any cinema.”

“I took a leap and booked a Jumpin party package just 2.5 weeks before the event, despite never having been there before—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I booked, every staff member provided outstanding service. I called several times with questions and each time I was greeted with friendly and helpful responses. The kids had a blast in the ball pit before our session began, and the team was incredibly accommodating, even welcoming two surprise guests without any issues. Safety was a top priority, with staff stationed throughout the play area ensuring the kids were safe. Hand sanitizers were readily available, which was a nice touch. Our party host was the sweetest person, making the experience even better. The party room was clean and nicely set up, with comfortable seating. We were given a balloon arch, cake knife, cutlery, paper plates, and cups—though the party lights didn’t work, but that was only a minor hiccup. We ordered pizzas, which the kids loved, along with chips, salad, a tray of delicious fruit, and two amazing cake/biscuit boxes that I’m still raving about. Unlimited squash was available throughout our session. The host helped us both set up and clean up, and was always on hand to assist with anything we needed. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service! Paid parking is available, and you have 5 minutes from your arrival to pay. As a side note, Jumpin Derby is the only place I’ve visited since arriving in the UK where every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful!”

“Good location. It's nice to be able to have good enough food too. Most soft plays lack that. My children loved the soft play. Note: It does get busy and you might struggle to find a table. It's definitely a nicer place to visit when it's a bit quieter.”

The hosts were fab, came with the energy and also throughout the party they checked to ensure everything was ok and if i needed anything else. “Absolutely fantastic place. It’s huge and has a fantastic array of cars to look at. You get given a handheld tablet aswell which gives you a tour round the place and options to get the history behind individual cars which is fascinating. Highly recommend anyone to visit here.”
