The best nursery ever. My daughter has just graduated after attending since she was 1. The staff are so caring and wonderful. So much outdoor play and beautiful activities. She has left a confident, caring, mindful and smart little lady and fully prepared for school. I highly recommend them! X
We're absolutely thrilled with our son's experience at this nursery. The growth and learning we've seen in him has been remarkable. The emphasis on outdoor play is fantastic - he gets plenty of time exploring in the forest and going on walks in all weather, which we love. The variety of activities really stands out, from interacting with the chickens to creative projects indoors. What really makes this place special is the staff. Their dedication, care and expertise shine through in everything they do. We're so appreciative of how they've nurtured our son's development and given him a second home where he feels safe and happy. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice of nursery. Our son is flourishing here and we're grateful for the wonderful environment they've created.
My daughter absolutely loves attending nursery here, she started just before she was one and has spent 2 years now and loves every session she attends , she is very well looked after by all the staff. They have great outdoor activities and forest walks. The new nursey building is great ! The staff are all lovely and management are caring and understanding and you can tell they absolutely love what they do. Thank you all for your hard work!

Such a lovely family run, caring and fun nursery, our son had a fantastic year and I wish we’d been local and able to use sooner. A gorgeous setting, genuinely interested team, creative details and ideas, inspiration from nature around the nursery and their woodland space, art, science, fun and storytelling, as part of the children’s week. Our son made great friendships, grew in confidence, learned lots and we’d recommend to anyone.
Wonderful family fun nursery with kind, child-led approach. My children have grown in confidence immensely in the short time they have been here and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. It’s a real home from home for them and they are really thriving.
A truly wonderful nursery. Our Son’s confidence and knowledge has really developed since being here. Most importantly, he’s so happy. He looks forward to ‘Learning’ and always tells us what he has been doing that day. When changing nurseries we had a tough decision, so we thought at the time, and yet we don’t regret it at all. This nursery is a no brainer. The staff are lovely and the environment is the perfect place for your child to develop. Keep up the great work and thank you.
My Son has blossomed at ashdown day Nursery. He is growing into a very happy, strong independent and free- thinking boy. The care and attention he receives at the Nursery is outstanding. Highly recommend Teresa and all the staff at the nursery.
This nursery has the warmth and care you could only dream of for your children. My son absolutely loves it at Ashdown Nursery so much so he asks to go on his days off. The care and attention from the teachers is wonderful and what I love is they observe the child’s current interests and will nurture and explore that with the child. I couldn’t ask for a better environment for our son to start exploring the world and the fact he leaves with a beaming smile when he leaves is enough for me.
My son has been attending for the past six months and I couldn't ask for a better environment for him. The staff are wonderful, caring, attentive and skilled at engaging and guiding the children. The environment is lovely its clean, bright, organised and safe with a wonderful outside space. All tucked away from the main road with great parking access for drop off and collection too. The garden has shade during summer and a gorgeous outlook over fields complete with sheep and squirrels so the kids get a sense of space and genuine fresh air. Each day there is something new set up by the staff to engage in so my son looks forward to discovering what activity will happen at nursery. And he loves his lunch! I leave my son knowing he will be happy and safe. I've had experience in the past of busy, loud stressful nursery days for my daughter and this is the completely opposite. I have no doubt in recommending this nursery to anyone needing part time or full time care for their children.
