I’ve had 3 children at the Stables over 4 years now. My youngest is just 2. The kids have all loved it. It’s a very nurturing caring environment and I have complete trust that my children will be and have been cared for extremely well. They are accommodating to your child eg with naps and we have happily used cloth nappies throughout our time there (other nurseries wouldn’t allow them). You get a good handover at the end of the day and you know they care about your children with the way they speak about them. We get a lovely hand made scrap book made through their time there to keep which is very special. There’s also plenty of outdoors time. As working parents it is so important to know your children are happy and developing well when you can’t be with them, couldn’t ask for more really.

The Stables is an outstanding nursery and both of my children have had a wonderful time there. We looked at a lot of options locally and for me The Stables had the best atmosphere and facilities for the children. Everything from the freshly cooked lunches, external clubs that visit (music & movement, yoga, football and more) and daily trips to ‘The Den’ it is a lovely place to be. The staff also take a lot of time preparing the ‘school leavers’ so they are ready for their next chapter. My children left with confidence and happy memories. Thanks to all the staff (many of whom have been at the nursery for years)

My daughter has been at Stables for almost 2yrs, she loves it there - fantastic care and support, her development has been amazing and the time she spends outdoors in the large field opposite, the 'den' in the woods, and in the large front and rear playgrounds are so good for her development and for her to get plenty of fresh air. I can't fault Stables - the management and staff are excellent and I'll be forever grateful for the part they've played in my daughter's development.

The children spend so much time outside, have fantastic home cooked meals, the staff are so kind and accommodating. My daughter has just finished at the Stables having attending since before she was one. I can not rate the Stables highly enough. Zara adored attending and the staff have nurtured her in a way that means I am confident that entering school will be a breeze for her. I have found the program to be a good balance between education and playtime with focus on being outside as much as possible. The extra curricular activities put on are an added bonus and she enjoyed football and yoga. If you haven't already, do yourself and your child a favour and get them on the waiting list!

A wonderful nursery. My son has started school this past week and he has taken it all in his stride and I think this is down to the amazing experience he has had at this nursery. A wonderful setting, surrounded by fields and plenty of outdoor and indoor activities that are provided at no extra charge. My son has grown in confidence, made many wonderful friends and can even write his name! Their ethos to make learning fun, and is never pressurised, has really bought out the best in the children in their care. The staff are lovely, caring and attentive, and I always had peace of mind that my son was in the best care when he attended. I can't tell you how much we both miss it!

A real gem of a nursery! My 4 year old has just left and my 2 year old still attends. Both have been going since they were babies and we couldn't be more pleased with the nursery. This little, family run nursery has a lovely, homely feel to it, with the owner and her team that run it being really lovely and caring. There are qualified teachers on the staff and my 4 year old has left being able to write her name, read some words and sing phonics songs! Different activities ran by outside specialists, such as Little Kickers, messy play, dance and baby yoga, take place every single day (and there are no additional charges for these!). Meals are home cooked and for both children we receive daily updates via an app as to what they've eaten, naps, what they've done and photos of their day, plus are provided with a good handover at home time. The children spend loads of time outside and the nursery has a free flow policy. And to top it all the nursery is in a beautiful purpose built, Scandi style building, from the large glass windows of which the children can see cows in the surrounding fields. I am so sad my 4 year old has left such a loving and nurturing environment and can only hope that school will be half as good!
