   Lovely spot. Marvellous walk from the Devil's Dyke. Beautiful on a clear day. Very old water wheel and fantastic cafe on the farm. Well worth a visit.

   Working farm with some interesting historic features in a peaceful South Downs setting. Small amount of free parking across the road from the farm, or a very scenic walk from Devil's Dyke. The old barn houses a range of old agricultural implements, and well produced information boards charting the farm's history. The highlight is the donkey wheel, originally used to raise water from a well beneath the farm. It's very well preserved and a rare survival of its type. Visitor facilities at the farm include an independently run café with some unusual food and drink options and plenty of outdoor seating, and toilet facilities. Newtimber Hill is a pleasant area of chalk downland countryside yielding fine views on a clear day.

   Part of a full day's very scenic walking enjoying the landscape but at the time was unaware tht the farm actually has a history dating back over 1,000 years, with evidence of human settlement from the Mesolithic and Bronze Ages. It was once owned by the Knights Templar and has been home to various farming families over the centuries. And we found Wildflour Café as well which was very nice.

   Great sunny day out with my partner! Found via national trust website, parking can be quite difficult. The walks and views around the farm were beautiful! Also had a cafe which had great food and drinks! Rated 4 stars as we expected the farm to be more open to the public would class this as a walk next to a private farm. Would still recommend as a day out

   Parking not great as it is a working farm. Didn't notice any toilets, but then I didn't required the use. No disabled parking . It's all uphill for most of your trip. A walk round the fields to gain a view if Sussex is recommended but it is uphill. A walk round the farm itself is worth it and to look at the donkey wheel. There is a cafe too but didn't use that. Worth a little visit.
