   A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! I engaged with Faces and Smiles privately, for their Invisalign treatment. My initial sales call was warm and professional, but what followed was certainly not! When I signed up to my treatment plan, I was advised that my appointments would be at Norwich. This was not the case, as I quickly learnt that the Orthodontist rarely made an appearance at the Norwich surgery, meaning that the majority of my appointments were in Bradwell, some 40 miles away from where I live. I would have been able to stand the above if the level of customer care and professionalism was good, but it was sadly very much lacking! I cannot comment on the dentistry or the product, as I am no expert and due to personal reasons I was unable to complete my treatment plan. What I will say though, is that I expected better! My biggest issue was with the Orthodontist himself and his team of dental nurses. They treated me as ‘a number’! My appointments felt rushed and there was a lack of communication throughout every consultation. The Orthodontist did not explain what he was doing or warn me that some procedures were going to be uncomfortable or unpleasant. The nurses spent most of the time on their phones, not assisting or caring. Often when I was left gagging, I had to get their attention to enable me to rinse my mouth out. At every appointment, I reminded them that I was a nervous patient, but that didn’t seem to matter and they didn’t care. The Orthodontist himself was disinterested and careless. His gloves always smelt dirty, which made me feel nauseous . During every appointment, other nurses would come and go, often staying to chat to the Orthodontist or nurse. They never knocked or apologised for interrupting my appointment. They discussed other patients in front of me. Where are professional standards - patient dignity, respect, confidentiality? I’m sure the CQC would be very interested to hear my feedback. There is so much that needs to improve here. I should have smelt a rat when I was able to commence my treatment straight away!

   Got an emergency appt here after struggling elsewhere. Toothache, i hate the dentist and used to be sedated. Was xrayed here and needed an rxtraction. I didnt even feel the injection and didnt feel the extraction at all. Very good dentist - Jimmy Matloob and practice.

   Pilar and her team provided a full Invisalign orthodontist service for my 16 year old son. We were both very impressed by Pilar's professionalism; attention to detail; and willingness to go the extra mile. The thing that struck me the most about Pilar was that she was always happy and smiling and obviously loves her job and is very keen for her patients to have the best outcomes.

   I am absolutely thrilled with my new "straight" teeth. Pilar had her work cut out with me but I am so pleased with the result. Pilar was recommended to me and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone else thinking of doing Invisalign. She is an absolute professional and expert in this field. My only regret is that I didn't do it when I was younger.

   Beware! £600 down and I still have the same make do filling as when I was referred to this place,each visit cost £200! 1st visit just to show me inside my mouth and the way to floss! Next visit to see how things are going ,3rd visit was told all is looking good and we will focus on the tooth the next visit ...year later I'm still waiting? And after paying over £600 you would think this would be sorted!! Rip off!! And my tooth is now getting worse..

   Today I was booked in to see Dr Emily Matthews for a hygienist appointment and it was excellent. Dr Emily Matthews was extremely gentle and careful when she cleaned my teeth and explained clearly how to clean my teeth with the right flossing equipment after. It was the most relaxing experience and the best hygienist appointment I have ever been to. Special thanks to Emily and her assistant. Thanks, Tess
