   After 57 years, my first extraction was yesterday. I feared another teenage horror story but Dr. Russell Wrigglesworth made the experience so unlike all those years ago! The tooth was removed painlessly within minutes after such a simple process. I was astonished, delighted and pleased to have it removed. Thank you to Dr. Russell Wrigglesworth's excellent dentistry and nurse Steph.

   After been so terrified and I actually mean terrified of dentist, and not visiting one for 10 years , I had no choice after having a fall and knocking out half tooth . I visited Horsford dental practice and saw Russell, he was nothing less than amazing , he had empathy for how scared I was, he gave me a sedative to take to help calm me prior to my treatments and he talked me through absolutely every step of my treatment on 3 visits ,.He has actually restored my faith in dentists , I simply can't thank him enough .

   Great dentists, I had an emergency appointment, quickly seen to and great treatment. Even though I fear the dentist chair,was made to feel comfortable and sort of relaxed(my body didn't get the memo and was shaking like a nudist in Antarctica)I have more treatments to come,and hoping my fear of dentists will soon be a thing of the past.

   I needed a new dentist so I chose Horsford, because it is close by with parking.  I sent an email and it took 4 weeks to be replied to, so not impressed. I stated I had a very loose incisor and a loose molar needing attention. The reply was I must first come for a consultation and x-rays at £84.  So an appointment was offered at 9.30 the next week. I said my health condition means an early appointment is not ideal, an afternoon would be best. The next reply gave me 3 times in mid November for the consultation. So I had to wait some 7 weeks for this before getting another appointment to have my loose teeth extracted. So much for emergency procedures. The replier Ella is not even listed on the website, so who is she?  Obviously not anyone with a caring attitude and connected with priorities.

   I was getting a lot of trouble with my wisdom tooth and decided to call the practice. From the moment I got through to Theresa on reception I knew the level of attention and care would be first class due to her understanding and patient nature. To my amazement in this troubled time she was able to get me an appointment the following day which was amazing! I met with Dr Russell and his team and there were very understanding and showed a real personal touch when it came putting me at ease. The extraction of the tooth was pain free, done with time and skill and I was made to feel like a person and not just another patient who has come through the door. Now that I live the next village over I will definitely be using this superb practice again. Thank you to the whole team. Just amazing! Damion Vincent

   The best experience with a dentist I’ve ever had! Having been seen as an emergency patient with a troublesome tooth (I wanted a second opinion) I have decided to register with Horsford Dental Practice. Mr Wigglesworth was extremely kind and explained everything to me which helped me to feel like I was in safe hands as I am quite nervous when it comes to visiting the dentist. All the staff are extremely helpful and you are made to feel very welcome. Thank you so much!

   I had not visited a dentist for many years, and after an unfortunate episode with an ENT consultant, I developed a hyper gag reflex, even with my own toothbrush! A filling had fallen out, and I knew I had to get my teeth sorted. I initially searched for sedation dentistry, but the waiting lists are very long. I contacted Horsford dental practice via email, and was reassured enough to make an initial appointment. Now, 6 months on all my immediate needs have been completed. I cannot stress how much Russell has helped. My initial appointment and subsequent treatment has been handled very sympathetically. I must also praise Sue Whiting, who has put up with all my nervousness and made me feel that I was not being silly! I am now quite confident in attending a dental appointment, and although will never be a willing attendee I know that my confidence in dentistry has been restored. I would not hesitate in recommending this practice. Thanks guys!
