Whilst waiting to collect from a DofE expedition at the Malling Field assembly venue, I stepped over to the Community Centre. There was a stall outside selling fresh Focaccia in 3 or 4 flavours. I chose an Almond Slice Focaccia. It was delicious! In the café I bought an unusual flavour "sour" soft drink can. It was interesting and different but very expensive.

Great spot on a sunny day! Can set up a picnic, and the kids run around the playground. Loads of outdoor tables. Also has a great little cafe serving coffee/tea and alcohol beverages and a small food option.

Nice community cafe above a kids play area. It serves a decent range of food and drink, including beers by 'Only with Love', who do a great Low alcohol beer that's well worth trying. They host a lot of groups over the week. You may find something that appeals to you.

Perfect place to have a nice cup of chai late and delicious cake after dog walk. Such a welcoming atmosphere and dogs are welcome which is a bonus. I'd highly recommend a visit.

Great space on a, hill overlooking trees and fields, unfortunately the service was appalling! How can 2 staff not manage coffee and pastries, waited 20 mins for a flat white which was cold, ordered a croissant which was stale I returned the pastry and was offered a vanilla bun which I was assured was fresh, guess what that was also stale. It cost me £7 for a completely unenjoyable visit!!!

A very good centre tucked away but worth a visit. Reasonable car park next to a large park

Well located with reasonable free parking with some spaces for disabled drivers and passengers. I visited during the winter and the centre was comfortably warm. The public areas are spacious and well illuminated by a mix of natural and artificial light

Really clean and vibrant community centre. I went for a dance class but it would also suit large parties.

Changed alot since my son was little. Beautiful new interior with a cleverly planted wild meadow to increase biodiversity. Still same lovely vibe of community

Underfloor heating is a treat The Centre is clean and feels new. It's right on edge of the park and within easy reach of shops and main part of Lewes Possibly too much activity and hubbub for a meditation class there, time I wanted it, but reckon its good for something livelier. The cost to hire the small hall was £13 so good also financially. There is to be a cafe opening at the centre too although no date for that
