    Shocking mistakes time and time again, had some external white pipe delivered along with other things but the state on the pipe was so bad. Its laughable they thought they could get away with even delivering it especially as thats something that you have to put outside your house and you want it looking as tidy as possible. Avoiding this place from the future now

    I moved to the ammanford area to renovate a property. I would not have been able to do it without the continued support and service from LBS! Not only do they have the best prices around, everything's always in stock, they always sort me the delivery slot needed and you can always guarantee fantastic service with a smile. I wish I knew more of the guys names to thank them individually as they are all amazing but special mention to Shaun! Top geezers all round. Thanks LBS!!

    Such a frustrating experience. Such dreadful customer service.I needed bored from my attic. I do not usually speak to people on the phone my carer does this. I explained to the guy that Answer the phone that I was Disabled and we need the boards two Days before so they could adjust my house climate, The contractor was very specific about that so so was I on the phone. They deliver the boards and left them outside and Wouldn’t bring them in. it’s been raining all night. I don’t know if the contracteris going to be able to do this or if the boards got wet , either way I couldn’t get them in so they have not acclimatised to my home .either way I’m so annoyed such an ablest attitude. I mean he didn’t even warn me that it was curbside drop off he would think that he’d think “ she’s disabled. Perhaps she can’t bring these in by herself. I should probably warn her or at least tell her to get a tarp”but nope . Aweful experience stressful when it did not have to be

    my building company West Glamorgan Estates now operates from the Ammanford area since 2023. I had previously made nearly all my purchases from Selco at Swansea. I decided to try LBS at their Ammanford branch, and it has been a very positive experience to date. The yard staff and delivery men are helpful and Sean on the counter taking my orders has been brilliant. Even when he is inundated with customers waiting for service he remains calm and courteous, and his friendly demeanour certainly helps to maintain a good atmosphere even among us constructors who are anxious to obtain their order and get back to their various sites.     Ridiculous the amount of office staff that will sit there and watch the only person serving and not care about him or the ten + trades waiting to be served.. should all be re trained and watch how the yard staff help everyone asap.

    Ordered some stud timber for dry walling, and was delivered studs that were waterlogged and smelling of rot. Apparently they store all of their timber outside. This batch must have been out and uncovered for some time. Returned it as it was as much use as breast on a fish, wasted 3 days of my time over this and not even an apology from staff. Looking elsewhere from now on. Cant give zero stars on here but would give massive negative if I could.

    LBS has got everything you need to build a home. I recently went there to get food vents, the staff were very knowledgeable on building processs and what was needed to get the air circulating in the attic. We bought the vents from LBS which was really reasonably priced. LBS has a big outdoor yard where you can see the other building materials. I always give a call to make sure the stock is in, but even if it isn't they get the stock really quickly.
