I was staying in the area for my 60th birthday and had the Three Tuns recommended. The pub was buzzing when we arrived, good job i'd booked a table but it was Saturday night. The service was very good, friendly and engaging. The food was delicious, pork belly main and sticky toffee pudding for afters. If there was any criticism, I could've eaten a little more but I'm a fat lad so that's just me. Good selection of drinks and everything reasonably priced which for a Yorkshire bloke is saying something. Well worth a visit, we'll certainly be back.

The Three Tuns has come storming back after a disastrous period! Had lunch here today. Staff friendly and professional. Husband had a great steak with sensible portions. I had one of the best veggie curries ever.. although the menu was a bit limited fir vegetarians . Wine list was great too. As people realise that the Tuns is back with a bang the atmosphere will build up. This is a gem of a pub with great potential and is already well in the right direction.

First time being back in the three tuns since it reopened. Was pleasantly surprised, I had a steak ciabatta which was very tasty and reasonably priced. Service was good and nice to see the local beers back behind the bar.

Ate here 2 nights on the trot. I had two delicious vegetarian meals. Halloumi burger first night then veg lasagne the second night. Both meals were lovely. I highly recommend this pub to eat at. There was only one beer on tap which is disappointing considering the brewery is next door but the delicious food more than made up for the lack of choice in beer.

Turned up at noon on a Sunday having read some positive Google reviews. It didn't disappoint. Good for, excellent beer and reasonable prices. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that it only had one Three Tuns beer on offer despite being next door to the brewery. Apparently they fell out in the early 2000's and are now a Heineken affiliated pub so most of the beers are standard affairs.

Beautiful old building, friendly staff, and excellent real ale. Parking is not the most convenient.

This is the 2nd time we have been here while visiting the lovely Shropshire border between England and Wales. It is a nice place to sit in and does have a comfy feel. The bar staff have strange vibes but the young girls are nice enough, maybe a bit awkward. The menu is okay but not an amazing choice but the food portions are big (maybe a bit too big ) and the food is tastey enough. My starter of the fish Goujans was really nice. I enjoyed them the most. I had the Pork Belly which was tasty enough , fresh veg, bit crunchy which I personally quite like but some might not. The mash was very nice and the pork belly was decent apart from the crackling was so tough and you couldn't eat it at all . Literally so chewy it would break your teeth. I like the crackling but had to leave it. We was stuffed so it wasn't a bad meal..we enjoyed it. It was a nice pub meal. On the pricey side which you would expect. When we paid the maybe owner come over and took our payment , he had a really off vibe. He didn't really speak to us , he just walked up gave us the card machine and didn't say thanks or anything. He just walked away and didn't give us the receipt or even ask if we wanted it. He seemed off with us and not friendly at all. An okay place to eat but left with a weird feeling from the staff. Not sure if we will be back Heres a photo of my starter which was great

This was are favourite pub/restaurant during our stay in Bishops Castle. We ate here twice. Both times the food was delicious and the service excellent. The staff are very friendly and welcoming - the best we experienced during our stay. You feel well looked after. Even when busy the service is efficient. The beers are very good and incredible value - probably helps that they are brewed on site. £3.35 for a pint.

I believe this to be the brewery tap for Three Tuns brewery. You can have a beer watching the comings and goings in the old brewery building. The excellent real ale was my main attraction as they serve Clerics Cure ,XXX and their other brews. Still applying strict covid precautions so it was table service. Staff were friendly helpful and attentive. A real character of a pub in a village that also has charm and character. The menu offered a good range of choices you can check this online Fantastic quality and value. It's the sort of pub where you can enjoy great beer knowing the missus is also happy.
